I was greeted back by the sight of Estelle, the flight attendant who often work on our private jet. Her presence was a surprise as I had definitely not expected to see her.

"Estelle, what are you doing here?" I asked as she leaned in for a quick hug.

A flush rose to her cheeks as she handed me the drink she held in her hand. “You remembered my name,” her eyes beamed with happiness. “I live and work here whenever I’m not in the sky.”

A silence followed between us. She blinked her eyes, hoping I would be the one to keep the conversation going—but I had nothing to talk about. Not with her.

It made me feel like a terrible person because she seemed like a nice woman.

"When I heard a Fanucci was coming, I already hoped it would be you," she eventually broke the silence.

I cracked a smile. "What? You don't like my brothers?"

"I do," Estelle quickly clarified. "I was just hoping it would be you."
