Years Ago...

My first marriage wasn't with Ethan but Rodney.

I was leaning on my lap while covering my ears because of the series of the gunshots on Rodney's car but it didn't bother him, I guess he's used to it.

He was driving fast now to lose the van who we're following us. He immediately turned right and hid on the other street. He stopped the car on the side to check me.

"Damn, that was close, hey, are you alright?" He said with sincerity in his eyes as he touched my cheeks.

I didn't realize that I was crying when he suddenly hugged me.

"It's alright, love. They're gone," he said, trying to comfort me and I guess that's working but I'm really scared.

"Let's just go h-home, please. We can visit them some other time," I said because I really wanna go home. I was trembling in fear and my hands were shaking.

"Alright, we will go home now," he said while starting the engine to drive again.

When we got back home, I just locked myself in our room and Rodney started to get worried
