Xavier looked at him intensely. "It's okay. I've already promised that I would go."

There was a flash of disappointment in Tristan's eyes, and he couldn't help asking, "Don't you hate going to events like this?"

At the special needs school that afternoon, Yvette walked into the newly opened music room. She sat in front of the piano and taught the children how to play.

Xavier stood outside the door surrounded by a bunch of bodyguards.

It was the first time he had seen Yvette play the piano, and she played very well indeed. The melodious sound of the piano seemed to soothe his soul.
