Xavier was confused. "When did I ever curse you?" If he'd wanted Yvette dead, he certainly wouldn't need to resort to something as ridiculous as a curse.

"Just look at the flowers you sent and ordered to be all laid out in rows at my doorstep! They're all white and yellow flowers. Do you dare say you're not cursing me?" Yvette's voice trembled with frustration.
