Yvette got angrier by the second as she dashed out of Azure Villa.

She had just found out that she wasn't James' daughter yesterday. Then, Jeremiah had taken her to his private villa after she'd collapsed from a high fever.

She had hoped to get some comfort from someone, yet Xavier had asked for a divorce and accused her of cheating right as soon as they'd met.

Not once had he asked her why Jeremiah had taken her away.

She felt aggrieved thinking about it. Xavier might be sick, but had he also lost the ability to think on his own?

Yvette's phone rang. She instinctively thought that he had called her, Yet, upon checking, she noticed that it was Jeremiah.

She accepted the call and heard his soft voice asking, "Have you gotten back safely?"

Yvette didn't want to worry him and lied, "Yes."

"That's good. I forgot to ask you this morning—what exactly happened yesterday? How did you end up alone and faint in the cemetery?" Jeremiah had actually already found out the basics of the situ
