Chapter 776

Recently, Gemma had returned to Tirion for a business meeting. So Zoey met her for a meal. She even personally served her food and poured a glass of wine for her.

"Have some more, Mom."

"Sure." Gemma felt happy. However, the peaceful moment was interrupted by the sound of a phone ringing.

Zoey took a look at her phone and saw that it was Yara. So, she declined the call and put the phone back into her bag.

However, she didn't realize that she had accidentally answered the call instead. Since she'd put the phone back in her bag, she didn't hear Yara speaking either.

"Who was it?" asked Gemma. "Why didn't you answer it?"

"Oh, it's a harassment call," answered Zoey.

When Yara hadn't gotten a response from Zoey, she'd planned on hanging up and calling again. However, she unexpectedly ended up hearing Gemma and Zoey's conversation.

Upon hearing Zoey say that it was a harassment call, Yara knew the former had answered the call by mistake.
