Chapter 709

Yvette woke up to find the daylight streaming in through the windows. Grabbing her phone, she saw that it was already noon. As she was about to get up, she saw a message from Xavier.

"When are you going back?"

Yvette wasn't sure yet, so she didn't reply for now.

As she stepped out of the bedroom, a maid quickly approached her.

"Miss, your toiletries are ready. This way, please." Since the maid wasn't sure of Yvette's exact identity, she addressed her as "miss".

Yvette nodded. "Thank you."

After she freshened up, the maid led her to the dining room.

Claude and Yerick were in the dining room, sitting across from each other. Compared to the night before, Yerick looked much better now. He had clean clothes, and some color had returned to his face. He was eating as though nothing had happened.

Claude, however, wasn't eating. He was sitting in a leather chair, holding a document.
