At first, Shannon was somewhat displeased by being called outdated. However, her mood instantly lifted when she heard Noah's follow-up.

"Three lives?" she repeated.

Noah nodded. "Yes! Mom is pregnant with two more brothers or sisters for me."

Shannon was overjoyed. She had always wanted a grandson. Not only had Yvette unexpectedly brought twins home, but now she was expecting twins again.

Once the babies were born, Shannon would have four grandchildren.

Shannon's happiness was beyond words. She immediately got up and told Yvette, "Hurry, you're pregnant; you shouldn't stand for too long. Sit down."

Yvette, who had only ever been treated with such courtesy when Shannon had persuaded her to become the Lane family's daughter-in-law, understood that this was all because of the babies she was pregnant with.

She moved to a spot away from Shannon and sat down.

"Tomorrow, I'll have a nutritionist come to take care of you. She used to take care of me," Shannon informed her.
