Shannon wore a beautiful dress, and she looked younger than usual. When she saw Noah after entering the ward, she immediately thought about Xavier when he was younger.

"It's me, Noah, your grandma."

She bent down and wanted to hug Noah. However, he avoided her. "You've made a mistake, old lady. I'm not your grandson."

Shannon was stunned. It was her first time being a grandmother, and she didn't know what to do at all.

She immediately told her men to bring the gifts to him. "Here, Noah. I bought all of these for you."

When Noah saw the gifts, he noticed they were all the latest toys and games. There were even luxurious action figures, and he could tell the gifts weren't cheap at all.

He figured Shannon was quite generous and wealthy. At the very least, she was being more generous than Yara. Not only that, but she was better at pretending to be a kind person.

"I'm sorry, old lady. My mom taught me not to take anything from strangers."
