While Xavier and Yvette were on their way to Sangine County, it started to rain heavily.

As Yvette sat in the passenger seat, her eyes happened to land on Xavier's gorgeous side profile, and her heart skipped a beat.

She quickly retracted her gaze and looked out the window. Before she had gotten him for herself, she used to think he was hard to approach. But now, she had touched every inch of his body.

No matter how aloof a man was, his relationship with someone else would change after having skin contact.

Xavier had noticed that she had been looking at him. So, he held her hand when they were taking a break from driving. "I'm not used to you being so quiet."

Yvette looked at him as he added, "You used to talk nonstop."

When she heard that, she couldn't help smiling bitterly. "In that case, you definitely don't remember saying that you hated me talking too much."

Xavier was stunned, and it suddenly felt tense in the car. Yvette thought she had said something she shouldn't have
