Noticing that Yvette seemed off, Noah immediately acted cute. "Mom, did you forget something?"

Yvette snapped out of her thoughts. "What?"

"A kiss." Noah pointed to his cheek.

Yvette promptly kissed his cheek. "All good now?" she asked.

"Mhm!"

Yvette felt a warmth with Noah that she had never experienced during their time together. All the grievances she had suffered in recent days seemed to dissipate.

Their time together passed quickly. As the afternoon approached, Yvette gave Noah various reminders.

Unlike before, when they had been abroad, Noah was extremely understanding today and didn't throw a tantrum to stop Yvette from leaving.
