Back inside the cafe, Yvette got up and walked toward Daphne. Then, she lowered her voice and spoke next to her ear.

"Didn't you say I've changed? Why did you still think I'd fall for your tricks then? I was fully aware of your schemes back then, I just couldn't care less! You should stop using such lowly tactics from here on out."

After Yvette was done talking, Daphne's face grew terrifyingly dark.

Yvette marched out of the cafe and headed toward the back. She followed the directions Ray had sent her and found no parked vehicle there. She couldn't help but breathe out a sigh of relief.

All of a sudden, she realized that Xavier wasn't the same boy she used to like. That boy was more simple-minded. He would've made her happy and wouldn't have doubted her.

Dejected, she got in the car and left.

Subsequently, Daphne also walked out. She had just left the cafe when a man abruptly grabbed her hand and took her to a secluded area.
