Pity Party

I ordered entirely too much food.

I sat on my bed surrounded by a variety of different meals and smiled to myself. I sat cross legged and brought each plate closer to me, my mouth watering. I grabbed the remote from beside me and pressed play to one of the movies I found playing on TV and began digging in.

I ordered a burger and fries, a plate of fried shrimp and rice, lobster and steamed vegetables, two slices of chocolate cake and a shrimp cocktail. The restaurant downstairs had all of it, so I figured why not?

And was I trying to drown out my jealous, insecure feelings with food. Hell yeah I was. After spending the whole day cuddled up to Liam, I f*cking hated that I had to let him go. It hurt seeing him all dressed up for another woman, but...he wasn't mine and wouldn't be. Couldn't be.
