Abort Mission

The next day instead of going to school I slept in and only got up and got dressed when Chloe called me when she was in her way. We both sat quietly in her car on our way to the clinic and my stomach was jumbled with nerves. I was kind of freaking out a little.

Last night I had a dream that wouldn't leave my head. It was of James and I chasing after a cute, dark-haired little boy. My mom was there, sober, and his parents were there. It was almost perfect. And it was dumb. The dumbest dream I had ever had because I knew it could never happen.

We walked into the clinic and I checked in. Chloe held my hand as we waited for them to call me to the back and I was glad that I had told James to not come. The dream kept repeating over in my head and I couldn't shake the guilt that was beginning to make me feel sick to my stomach.
