Chapter 28: Vaughn Intolerant

“Mommy!” Ollie shouted as soon as he saw her mother walking over to where he was.

“Ollie,” she said in a breathless voice. “Where’s your aunt?”

“Bathroom!” he exclaimed. “She drank milk, mommy.”

Eloise clicked her tongue. Well, that explains the lack of updates. Cadence is very much lactose intolerant.

“Let’s go,” Eloise said, quickly carrying him in her arms.

“Where are we going, mommy?” Ollie asked in a confused voice since his mommy was acting very hasty.

“Home,” she said. “We can’t stay here anymore.”

As they walked out of the lounge room, they bumped into Xavi once again.

“Woah, why are you in such a rush?” he asked, holding onto her wrist.

“Let go,” she snapped. “We’re going home.”

“What?” he asked. “Don’t you want to talk after all these years?”

“Is there anything to talk about?” she retorted.

“Well, yeah. With Ollie being Vaughn’s—”

“Don’t even go there,” she stopped him before he could finish his sentence.

“We’re going.”

With that, the two of them quickly left the comp
