CHAPTER 2

ASHLEY POV

 When we heard a scream, we turned to face one another. She asked, "What's that?" to which I simply shrugged. Was there a celebrity?

When we turned to see what was making the noise, we noticed the males with the ladies shouting around them. 

I overheard Jeremy say, "Ohhhh, it's XIX Tier," she didn't even avert her gaze from the males. I asked, "You know them?"

“They are the current hot subject, “ she proclaimed. "They are the only team made up of good players from different parts of the country and they are all Filipinos," she said.

 “And then?” I asked further.

I could see her rolling her eyes, “Seriously, Ash? The fact that they finished second in a world title match before simply serves to highlight how exceptional they are. “ I followed the men's route as they approached the other side. I repeated, "So you mean they're one of the contenders?"

She bowed. “Yep. Do you not yet know what the contest's requirements are? " It was more of an inquiry from her. I gave a headshake. “Seriously? You play video games, but you're clueless. She said, irritated.

"I'm a gamer, not a gossiper," I joked.

"Heh! I'll explain it to you anyway. Well, my source said it's not going to be based on who will win, The gossip was, they held a contest like this to see the ability and talent of each player. “ She whispers, trying not to be heard by anyone but me as it was a big scoop from her work company.

There is a point, but...

"Why not simply enter the XIX into the global competition? You simply mentioned that they are excellent runners-up. " I’m confused.

She gave an explanation that helped me to fully comprehend the situation: "Well, It seems that three of their group would retire. He did not tell me who. So they require a replacement. “ I nod understanding the situation.

"So, would you please rethink the email?" She inquired.

"Huh? I already declined them, Jem, and even if I want to, you know I can't. “ I remarked scooping on my ice cream which she only scoffed and didn't like my choice.

I glanced back and forth at the players' path, Professional e-sports player...

"Wait Jem, I'll just have a look here in this store," I told Jem to stop walking as we passed my favorite shop. "Ice cream once again, Ash? I have some shopping to do!"

I continued, "I'll be there for a moment."

“No. just reserve it. Food is not permitted inside the department store. They should never touch that limited edition bag!” She kept pestering me, so I said, "I won't take a minute." She simply shrugs and gives me the opportunity. I grinned and headed to my preferred retailer. An ice cream parlor. Why? We can all enjoy ice cream!

I smiled as I ran into a store and smiled as I looked at their flavors I observed their display while continuing to browse for my preferred flavor. Hmmm. Why does the flavor of avocado seem to have vanished?

I questioned the saleswoman who was servicing the person in front of me, "Ah, miss.. do you have avocado flavor?"

She said, attempting to scoop up the remaining scoop, "There is still one left."

 I grinned. Can I still reserve that, Miss? Should I return later? The person with me is rushing”, I said to the woman. "Okay ma'am, just pay first." I nodded in glee and pay right away and departed after receiving the receipt. "Okay, let's go," I said to my overly bored sister. “ Finally! Gosh!”

 “ What?” I asked exasperated the salesperson in front of me, "Didn't I already pay for that? Why did you give it to another person? "I inquired.

"I'm sorry ma'am, I couldn't do anything. The buyer is a well-known individual. The head only told me to return your payment and offer you a coupon for the inconvenience. I’m really sorry.” She apologized, bowing her head.

I sigh and shut my eyes, "Just because it's a celebrity? " She professes her regret, "I am sorry for the inconvenience ma'am."

Jem reassured me, "Let's just buy from another store. I'll treat you. "I glanced at her. If she was not in a hurry, I could have eaten it. 

I said irritably, "It's your fault." I quickly grabbed the cash from the clerk and walked out of the store after she embraced me and apologized for making me feel upset. 

 She tried to calm me down while holding me and apologized, but I yelled back, "It's your fault!"

While still consoling me, she added, "Sorry. Let's simply move to another mall, for sure they won't run out of that flavor.

“Nah, I need to return home. I still need to fulfill my quota. " I said, doesn't have the energy to travel more. She continued to apologize until she got into her car.

 I turned up a live broadcast on my computer and sat down. Before I activated my account, I had already covered my long hair with a mask and a bonnet. I also grabbed my headphones, which I use to alter the tone of my voice to seem more masculine. Ok. Let's begin!

“Hello, guys! Back at BM Stream, do you miss me? We won't be going to sleep, don't worry. Are you all prepared? Playtime!” starting to broadcast live.

While I'm waiting, I'm pondering which champion to use because I feel like using a different one. It is better to know more. I can utilize a lot of things, but it's best to be able to use everything. 

"All right, folks, I'll try to use a champion I haven't used before. I'm going to test myself. "I said ipcking a champion. I chose Leblanc since she looks challenging to learn but has some powerful skills. If I ever perfect this one, it could be lethal to my opponent.

When the pop-up appeared, I noticed the comment box and thought, "Oh my viewers are pretty noisy right there!"

Dear God! That's ALPHA, my sweetheart!  

Seriously? Oh, this has to be a fun game!  

I examined the mentioned username. XIX.ALPHA

 Why do I feel like it's familiar?

This is awesome! The top-ranked yasuo and ADC in the Philippine server face off!  

This will be enjoyable!

Oh, wait, I took another look. XIX. Although that seems familiar, where did I read or hear it? Oooh! It is them! the gentlemen at the mall.!

I grinned, "Let's see how talented he is." But that vanished when I discovered which champion he chose.

Yasuo... What?

Is he mocking my beloved BM?

Shit! He picked the number Yasuo to make his opponent appear to be that number.

Go go go my husband alpha!

 Employing Yasuo as ADC? He intends to solo queue, right? Is he teasing me? I don't like his strategy, whatever it may be.

I regret even considering working with a different champion today. I ought to have done it another day. There isn't time for that, though.

The game was about to begin, so I was intently observing the monitor. Bring it on, Ash!

I did nothing but gain weight at the start of the game. In order to face its champion, I must first jungle. The champion I selected wasn't a strong Yasuo counter. especially considering I have no idea how to use this.

Shit! It immediately dashed at me, shocking me, and I died instantly. I was recently surprised by Yasuo in a bush. I made a tongue click. He is making fun of me. I won't permit you.

I walked straight to the middle to get creeps after my resurrection, but it suddenly rushed in and killed me! Again!

What's his problem? "Fvck!"  This person pisses me off

While I awaited my second resurrection, I firmly adjusted my seat. But in the same vein, it killed me repeatedly. I felt so frustrated that I wanted to fling the mouse I was holding.

Ash, chill out. You are on the stream live. I inhaled deeply and then fix my seat. Waiting patiently for my resurrection once more. I'll never let myself die this time.

It was concealed in the grass when I took a comprehensive look at the map. I seized the opportunity to gank. I kept typing until I was able to stop. When I learned that I had already murdered it, I grinned. Never make fun of me live on the internet.

On my screen, there are floating comments. They all adored the game, too. But it's too soon to throw a party. I, therefore, wait to rejoice until I hear my favorite sound of all. Victory.

 I witnessed it resurrect. However, this time it turned hostile. I was never given the opportunity to rest after the battle.

He never stops murdering me; he keeps doing it over and over. I was so shaken that I was unable to use the mouse or keyboard. This is illogical in every way. Even my fingers cannot move.

And even before I was revived, he dealt with our base to end the game. Defeat. Not even a word can I utter.

I looked at my KDA to see that I died more than I kill. 1/20/10

 And that really irritates me!
