Chapter 82

One night, while Erin is sleeping, she's awakened by the sound of glass breaking. She grabs her pepper spray and her phone, and she slowly walks out of her bedroom. She hears footsteps in her living room, and she can tell that someone is in her house. She's terrified, but she tries to stay calm. She knows that she needs to call the police, but she's not sure if she'll have time. Suddenly, she hears a voice. "I know you're in there," the voice says.

Erin can't move. She's frozen with fear. She's not sure what to do. The voice continues. "You can't hide from me," it says. "I'm coming for you." Erin is shaking, and she can barely breathe. She tries to muster up the courage to do something, but she can't seem to move. Suddenly, she hears the sound of the front door opening.
