Rebecca nods. "I know," she says. "I was scared to tell you. I didn't know how you'd react. I was worried you'd be upset with me." Samantha squeezes her hand. "We're not upset," she says. "We're just surprised. This is a big deal. Are you sure you're okay?" Rebecca nods again. "I'm okay," she says. "I'm a little scared, but I'm also happy. I've always wanted to be a mom." Samantha looks at Jimmy, who's still looking a little shell-shocked.

"Is the father in the picture?" Samantha asks. Rebecca takes a deep breath. "No," she says. "I was in a relationship, but we broke up a few months ago. I haven't told him about the pregnancy yet. I'm not sure what to do." Samantha and Jimmy exchange another glance. "That's a lot to deal with," Samantha says. "You must be feeling overwhelmed." Rebecca nods. "I am," she says. "But I'm also trying to stay positive. I'm hoping that with time, I'll figure out what to do."
