He was quite as confused as he met a wounded girl in Khalid’s custody but as demanded by Khalid, he helped Khalid lay scarlet at the passengers seat while they drove her down to the mansion.
Khalid paced relentlessly at the door step of his room while his private doctor was attending to scarlet inside the room.
He ignored the questions Gerald kept throwing at him until the doctor arrived.
“So how’s the girl doctor?” Khalid asked with concern and worry.
“Calm down” he sighed. “Your friend is okay. Besides she’s a strong girl, she responded to treatment immediately and she had no internal bleeding”
