Cassandra MLovelies, unfortunately, the flu made a u-turn &hit our home again, much worse than in the last few weeks since my 4-year-old also got it this time. I feel worse today than last time. I literally had to force myself to finish these chapters as to not leave you hanging if they both made it alive. I think my body is giving up already so I decided to take a break until Saturday (also for BeneathHerDarkness) — away from my computer, away from the pressure of having to load chapters per day. I'll let you know by then if I have a chapter or if I need more time. But I assure you, I will not be abandoning this story (I never abandoned my books). I hope you'll wait for me. Lovelies, Thank you for reading this story and for the patience you have shown me as I navigate toward the end. This story was more difficult to write than the rest because I changed so much in this short novel. Someone asked me before if I had changed any of my storylines, and I said no, but it was a lie as I didn't want to give anything away. The truth is, Darvin's story was supposed to end in Aeon's book, and it would pave the way for Beta Dominic's fate. It was the reason I didn't give him too much exposure in Riley's book. But just one POV and everyone shifted from hating him (for putting his sisters to the Claiming) into loving him. And I just knew after reading the love he was receiving that I didn't have the heart to break your hearts again the same way I did with Riley's. So I took on the challenge of rewriting Dominic's plot, and from time to time, I kept changing my mind about where it should go.
