DOMINIC. As soon as we received the news that the man we were looking for had already been found, we prepared for our journey down south. It would take us five hours to get there, but it was nothing if we would be able to get answers for Darvin. Lucas, Darvin, and I decided to go alone without any warriors with us. Three Alphas would be enough to protect each other, and we wanted to make sure our second and third in command, together with the best warriors, would be guarding our Lunas and our pack. Darvin was quiet the whole time. But he slipped up one time that he was wondering if the cure was illegal or harmful. He felt something was wrong because this man needed to be under the radar. So that’s what we were eager to find out. I hope he was wrong, and I hope we didn’t need to harm anyone for the cure. The door to a small house in what seemed to be a quiet community opened, and a man who looked like he was just in his late forties opened the door. If he was the man we were lookin
DOMINIC. We spent the drive back home in very uncomfortable silence. Darvin refused to speak even when Lucas and I were trying to get him to talk and discuss the information we just received. He only spoke once, and it was final - he didn’t believe Celeste’s blood would cure him and he didn’t want to talk about it. We knew it would take a while before he could agree to it, so we just let him be. Maybe if Katarina and Sofia could talk to him, he would eventually give in. I dropped Lucas at the border of his territory, and he told us that he would just pick up Katarina and they would drive to the packhouse, but Darvin stopped him and told him they could visit tomorrow — that it was already late and he was sure Katarina would want time with Lucas. It was strange because it was still early, and Darvin never refused a visit from Katarina no matter what time it was. Lucas just gave me a look, and it was a silent understanding that something was up. He didn’t reply to Darvin, but he nodde
DARVIN. No one knew the turmoil within me except me and Titan. We were torn between the possibility of being alive and healthy versus putting Celeste at risk just to have this cure. I wanted so badly to stay and build a family with her, but the moment I saw her when I entered our bedroom, I knew right away that I could never find it in me to give her pain in that way. So I gave up and took the coward’s way out. I told her we were leaving. I was ready to leave everything behind, even my sisters, just to protect Celeste from any harm. I was sure I could survive with the humans until my time was up. But I guess I gave her less credit than she deserved. I might have given up, but not her. She was willing to sacrifice herself for me. And although I was still not up for it one hundred percent, I couldn’t deny that my heart skipped a beat at the way her face lit up when she realized there was a possibility of me extending my life span. Even if this was hard to accept, I would do anything
DARVIN. I woke up full of energy this morning. Titan wanted to run, so I gave in, and we spent an hour just running around the territory while Celeste was still sleeping. I felt good. In fact, this was the same energy I felt the morning after I marked Celeste in her apartment. I just thought by then it was the adrenaline from the mate bond that made me feel alive. But I guess Constantine was right — the blood of our mates was the missing piece to complete our wolves. I just hoped I wouldn’t end up taking more from her and that she would feel like I was just using her to survive. But if I could last two weeks without drinking and have the same energy I felt for the last two weeks after her marking, then maybe I didn't need to drink too often, and she would be in better condition than Constantine’s mate. I guess I had to wait and see. After my run, I requested to meet Dominic at my office. I just got into my chair when he knocked and stepped inside. We both nodded our heads to ackn
DOMINIC. Thirty minutes ago, I received a mindlink from Gamma Hayden that Darvin and Celeste had entered the border. This was unexpected. I was waiting until the end of the week to reach out to him, but it seemed like I didn’t need to. Darvin and Celeste left the territory a month ago after he declined my proposal. He told me he was ready to move on and that I should schedule my Alpha ceremony. But I wasn’t giving up yet. I asked for a month, for him to try living a human life. If his heart was in it, then I would let him go and take over as the sole Alpha of the Moon Stone Pack. I wanted to assume they were coming home for good and that Darvin had decided not to abandon his post, but I didn’t want to set any expectations, especially for Sofia. I didn’t want to crush her heart if Darvin rejected our proposition. Five minutes before the time I expected them to arrive at the packhouse, I knocked at Sofia’s office door and didn’t wait for an invitation to come in. I opened the door
SOFIA. Celeste and I stood on the grounds outside the council building while waiting for our Alphas to finish their meeting with Alpha Marco, the head of the Council. They submitted the document to formally add Dominic as the Alpha of the Moon Stone Pack, and Celeste and I decided to tag along. After Achilles was killed and his group of rogue wolves was disbanded, there were no more threats, so they were confident enough to take us with them, but of course, we were never left behind on our own. Watching us from just a few feet away were Beta Daniel and some of the men we took with us. "Wow! I wasn’t expecting to see you here today. Lucky me." Someone spoke behind me, and it made me and Celeste turn around. "Excuse me, are you speaking with us?" I asked as my gaze tried to remember if I met the man with amber eyes before. But I couldn’t remember him at all. Either I had never met him or he wasn’t really worth remembering. He laid out his hand, and I was sure he was meaning to take
DARVIN. I was in my office, and I had Dominic, Beta Daniel, and Gamma Hayden with me. We were talking about the new setup we had, as well as the possibility of getting a new beta and gamma. One for each Alpha. "Do we really need to choose?" Daniel asked before his gaze shifted to Hayden, who let out a sigh. "Well, we want both of you, but whoever you’re most comfortable with." "Well, I want both of you as my Alpha." "Me too," Hayden added. "Can’t you have the same Beta and Gamma so we don’t have to choose?" "It will be a lot of work for you both. There will be days that Darvin and I will not meet eye to eye, so it might be tedious. That’s what we were thinking." Dominic explained. "I can handle that," Daniel smirked. "How about we try first? I’m sure we’re not rushing to get a new one. Not that we don’t want another male to rise through the ranks, but Hayden and I have never had a problem with having two Alphas." "We still have one territory, one group of warriors. We just have
BETA DANIEL. "Give me some slack. I’m only nineteen. I have years ahead of me before I need to settle down." I chuckled as I walked side by side with the three Alphas and Gamma Hayden. We had just finished a short meeting and were heading off to the training grounds to continue a day’s work, but the Alphas still wouldn’t stop teasing me to man up and ask Lizzie for a date. "Well, with two Alphas to work with, I’m sure you would rather have a female to come home to every night." Alpha Lucas stated before he jabbed Hayden’s chest with the back of his hand. "You as well, go find someone." "Nope," Hayden answered right away. "I’m okay here. "I'm waiting for my mate unless Dr. Lizzie turns out to be a hot chick, in which case... I might reconsider." I would have growled at him in annoyance if something hadn’t hit my nose. The air suddenly smelled of fresh-baked waffles mixed with strawberries, and I found myself hungry and salivating. I spaced out for a moment until my wolf howled in

Lovelies, Thank you for reading this story and for the patience you have shown me as I navigate toward the end. This story was more difficult to write than the rest because I changed so much in this short novel. Someone asked me before if I had changed any of my storylines, and I said no, but it was a lie as I didn't want to give anything away. The truth is, Darvin's story was supposed to end in Aeon's book, and it would pave the way for Beta Dominic's fate. It was the reason I didn't give him too much exposure in Riley's book. But just one POV and everyone shifted from hating him (for putting his sisters to the Claiming) into loving him. And I just knew after reading the love he was receiving that I didn't have the heart to break your hearts again the same way I did with Riley's. So I took on the challenge of rewriting Dominic's plot, and from time to time, I kept changing my mind about where it should go. But after four months, finally we are here, and I couldn't be more thank
DARVIN.Everyone around me applauded as we watched the end of the third fireworks display for the night, also signaling the end of the party. We were celebrating my 40th birthday, and although I told my mate not to make a big deal out of it, I knew this would still happen when you have Celeste as a mate, and Katarina and Sofia as sisters, with their mates who tolerated their obsession to celebrate every milestone of my life. But I was getting used to it, and it made me grateful that after all these years, despite having our own families, the bond I had with my siblings and their mates just kept getting stronger. "Happy birthday again, Darvs!" Kallan came and gave me a big hug before the rest of the Alpha Circle came and greeted me again. We were older now, and despite the many responsibilities on our shoulders, the pack, and our pups growing up, the years had only made us better and our brotherhood more solid."Thank you." I smiled and hugged all of them back before all our gazes fel
FOUR YEARS AFTER LUCAS AND KATARINA’S EPILOGUE SOFIA. My gaze roamed around the ballroom as Darvin’s 40th birthday was still in full swing. Every important person in his and Celeste’s lives was here. Almost twenty years ago, no one would have thought he would reach this age, so we opted for a big celebration. Although he didn’t want to, he had no choice when there were three females around him, who kept celebrating every year that was given to him. Glenn had confirmed that he no longer had acresia a long time ago, but Celeste, Katarina, and I — we will never forget the ordeal of nearly losing him. So we celebrate year after year, thanking the Goddess for the extended lives she gave Darvin and Celeste. Strong arms wrapped around my waist before my body was pulled back onto a strong torso. Dominic’s scent enveloped me all at once as sparks traveled all over my body. Dominic, even at 37, could still make my knees weak with just one touch, just as he could at 23. The 14 years just
10 Years After The Union and Luna Ceremony (Midnight Pack)KATARINA.I pecked Jillian, my five-year-old daughter, on the forehead before I placed her down on the floor beside six-year-old Abegail, and they began building blocks from the overwhelming amount of duplos and legos around them before my eyes searched for Ledger and Patrick.I found them at the far end of the pups’ playroom, discussing in a hushed voice as if they were discussing tactics for a great war.I smiled before bending again and this time placing a soft kiss on Abegail’s head before I whispered to her. "I’ll be just downstairs, call on me if you and Jillian need anything.""Yes, Mama K." She answered sweetly before she put her attention back on playing with my daughter.Patrick and Abegail were Paul and Alba’s pups. They were the Betas of the Blue Meadows Pack and had been a wonderful presence in our lives.Ledger and Patrick became good friends and were so inseparable that when Alba told me she and Paul would go aw
TWO WEEKS AFTER. SOFIA. Another beautiful day. The sun beamed its beautiful rays on my skin as I spread out my arms and tilted my head up to bask in them, letting its warmth and sunshine heal and refresh my soul. I was in the middle of the fields of wildflowers in the meadow at the Silver Moon Pack — the same place Dominic took me nine years ago when I first visited Alpha Riley's territory. We took the pups, Cassidy and Walker, for a play date with Riley and Nadia’s twins, Ara and Nika, and Dawson and Ellie’s twins, Drake and Dustin. Once the kids were settled and being watched over, we decided to sneak and head out here. Life had been nothing but beautiful for me. Two weeks had gone by since that fateful day when we all thought we were losing both Darvin and Celeste. But we triumphed. I underestimated the power of love and friendship, and the ways they could conquer even the toughest mountain. Celeste was given a gift from the Goddess that none of us had encountered in our

CELESTE. Ever since I woke up, I couldn’t help my pussy from throbbing even at Darvin’s simplest touch. I guess Thea was longing for Titan for a long time, and now I could feel it in my body. The moment the door closed, Darvin’s arms wrapped around me as he pulled me closer to him, my back resting on his chest. He began nuzzling my neck, inhaling deeply before he spoke. "You smell so fucking good, Celeste. Like you’re carrying a more sensual smell today." I ignored his words and went straight to the point. "Will you fuck me tonight, Darvin?" "Are you sure your body is already up for it?" "I have Thea within me. I want to share this moment with her, let her take over at some point if you let Titan out." Darvin bit my neck playfully, making me giggle because it tickled me. "Titan was just suggesting that maybe one day we can let him and Thea take over our human forms. He was gentlemanly, or should I say gentlewolf, enough to wait, but we underestimate how lusty our females are." I
CELESTE. My eyes snapped open and the blinding lights were gone, replaced by the spotlights hovering over my bed. My body felt heavy at the moment as someone was holding me tightly against his arms. Darvin. My Darvin. The calming scents of pine wood and a citrusy blend of bergamot were swirling around my nose. It was making my mouth salivate, the same way the sparks erupting everywhere in my body were making my pussy wet. This was too overwhelming. ‘Darvin…’ I tried with my mind instead of my mouth because my throat felt too dry. ‘Celeste?’ My body felt warm when I heard his voice, as everything was just sinking in now. Thea wasn’t lying — I could connect with my mate. Darvin’s body above me jolted in surprise before he pulled away and stared at me as if he had seen a ghost. Thea made her presence known by making my eyes dilate into full black, which made Darvin’s mouth drop open until his breathing hitched. Soon, his hands cupped my cheeks as he crushed his lips against m
