The battle raged on, a chaotic clash of claws and bullets.

“Throw the grenades at them,” Frank ordered the hunters.

Explosions echoed through the line leaving deep craters in the earth as wolves fell, their howls of pain swallowed by the deafening roar of the hunters' assault.

"Push forward! Break through their lines! Leave no wolf standing!" Frank yelled.

Luke stood at the center of the wolves’ defense, blood streaking his face and his breaths labored.

His sharp eyes tracked the hunters’ every move.

A young guard stumbled toward him, desperation in his voice. "We will all die at this rate if we do not get any help."

Luke’s jaw tightened, his grip on his sword-like weapon firm.

"Help is coming," he said, his tone resolute. "We just have to hold them a little longer."

But even as he spoke, he couldn't ignore the sinking feeling in his chest. The hunters had planned this attack meticulously, and their weaponry was unlike anything the wolves had faced before.
