I slowly peeled my heavy eyelids opening, groaning at the excruciating pain that shot through my skull as soon as I came to. I was blindfolded, my hands and feet spread and tied as I laid on a bed.
My body ached, my throat the same. I swallowed hard, wincing at the pain that shot through my throat. I let my eyes flutter shut, there was no use in opening them with my ability to see inhibited.
The door opened and a figured quietly entered the room. "Hey, Brian. I'm so glad you're finally awake. Are you okay?" She asked, sitting on the edge of the bed before removing the blindfold.
