The interrogation room exuded an air of cold formality, the atmosphere tense as Raven sat stoically across from me. His usually expressive eyes were now guarded, revealing nothing. I was determined to navigate the labyrinth of truth and deception, to unravel the mysteries that had entwined our packs.

"Why did you come to Venice, Raven?" I began, maintaining a steady tone.

Raven's gaze met mine, a fleeting shadow of uncertainty or guilt passing through his eyes. "I was here to sign a peace treaty between our packs. It was my father's idea. He thought it would be a step towards unity."

The irony of a peace treaty hung heavy in the air. "So, signing a peace treaty was the primary reason for your visit?"
