“What the hell!” said Mateo angrily. He was still unsure that what he heard was right.

But to confirm it further, Liam got from his place agitated.

“What did you just say?” asked Liam, he was the first one to get up and move towards Luke to break his mouth so that won’t be able to utter any nonsense about Elena again but Elena stopped him by holding his hand.

Luke eyes went from Liam to his hand and finally to their intertwined fingers. A loud groan of disapproval left his mouth.

Followed by Liam, Mateo and others got up to attack the person who insulted their Luna but Elena and Lily stopped them on time.

‘Merge wasn’t a really nice idea, was it?’ thought Lily.

 “Don’t be mean, brother. Who are you to judge? She will take care of her own things. You don’t need to meddle in her business” said Alice in an enraged tone.

“You are being too much, Luke” Christopher added in a serious tone.

“Okay. I did not know I was dealing with the bunch of immatures who can’t handle the truth. I thought we were having an adult talk here! My bad. I am sorry. No offense!” said Luke with a sarcastic smile.

“None taken. But Mr. Luke Smith, don’t judge a book by its cover! I will assure you I will handle my responsibilities as a Luna better than you” said Elena with a smirk.

“Are you challenging me? Unlike you, I have been practicing since I have changed when I was thirteen, an early riser. Don’t you think you are a bit too small and weak to challenge a powerful Alpha like me?” asked Luke with a proud smile.

“Only time will tell, Miss. Swan” said Luke with an arrogant smile and Moonshine people started screaming.

“Then start counting it” replied Elena mockingly and this was Dark Sapphire’s turn to scream.

“Let’s just continue” said Lily in annoyance.

“I am sorry Elena” said Alice in a disheartened tone but before Elena could reply someone else spoke while looking at the culprit who started the fight.

“Luke you shouldn’t be that rude” said Ira in a disappointed tone but Luke didn’t pay attention towards her.

The peacekeeper, Miss. Lily peaceful Williams rolled her eyes at the latter’s statement before saying,

“Whatever, let’s continue”

Chris was the one who spun the bottle this time and it stopped on the guy from Elena’s pack named Ruby and the girl who was sitting opposite to her was also from the same pack named Topaz.

“Now, now, two gemstones will play the game” said Liam pointing towards the two laughing and everyone burst into laughter.

“Ha Ha Ha! Very funny!” Said Topaz while rolling her eyes at Liam and turned towards Ruby.

“Alright, Ruby the red, what will you choose Truth or Dare?”

“I will go with Truth. You are a dangerous woman” said Ruby who knew how bold and dirty minded topaz can be.

“Yesterday” replied Lily jokingly which made everyone laugh.

But little did she know that her joke was not really a joke.

“How did you know?” asked Ruby in a shocked tone who was caught off guard.

“What?” asked Lily who was in-fact more shock than him.

This time, people started laughing with tears of joy looking at Lily’s shocked state.

“World is full of surprises, isn’t it, dear Lily?” asked Mateo teasingly while spinning the bottle.

It stopped pointing the tip of the bottle towards Luke.

“Ooo, handsome but arrogant werewolf under my possession. What will you choose? Truth or dare?” asked Lily with a smirk.

“Truth” replied Luke with his ever-lasting emotionless face.

“What a pussy!” said Liam with a scoff and people from Dark Sapphire chuckled.

“What did you just say?” asked Luke showing a slight anger in his voice.

At this moment, his pack members were agitated but Luke showed them his hand to stop them from doing something stupid.

“Didn’t you hear it. Want me to repeat, pussy?” asked Liam in a mocking tone.

Luke looked at Elena, who didn’t show any disapproval or discomfort at Liam’s insulting statement.

“Fine. I will take DARE” said Luke in a bit enraged tone

“Okay, kiss a girl” slipped Lily’s mouth in all this chaos and everyone looked at her weirdly.

‘F**k! What the hell did I say? I missed the chance to take our revenge!’ She thought being angry on her own self.

“Okay” said Luke emotionlessly.

He looked straight at Elena and then turned towards Ira. Elena yawned not showing any interest in the matter but someone else was throwing dagger at him.

He suddenly changed his direction and kissed his little sister’s cheek.

“Are we satisfied?” asked Luke while raising an eyebrow.

Lily didn’t bother replying and spin the bottle again.

It pointed towards Elena and Christopher was the one to ask her a question.

“Okay, Elena. Truth or Dare?” asked Christopher in a playful tone.

“I think I will go with Truth, because if today you will ask me to kill someone as a joke, I will gladly tear someone apart” Elena replied glaring at Luke with a bitter smile on her face.

“Okay, um. Yeah. I think I know what I am going to ask” said Christoph nervously.

“So, beautiful Elena, is there someone you like?” asked Christoph in a curious tone.

Everyone was looking at her with curious eyes. Nobody ever dared to ask her such question but everyone wanted to know about that.

‘Look at those curious kittens’ thought Elena laughing internally.

Elena was no doubt blessed with ethereal looks. She has been the dream girl of every second guy she meets. Who will blame the guys, with her angelic looks and alluring personality anyone can fall in love with her instantly!

“Yes” She replied in a single word.

Everyone except for Lily was surprised rather shocked by her answer, even Luke’s handsome emotionless face also showed some shocked expression. Everyone was astonished and curious about the guy who managed to steal the heart of this real-life goddess.

In the meantime, Elena checked the time on her wrist watch.

“Really? Who is the lucky guy?” Shouted Christoph in astonishment.

“My dear Chris, that’s the second question” said Elena while getting up taking Lily’s hand.

“What? No!” shouted Christoph and Alice in unison.

“Tell us who it is?” asked Mateo in desperation.

‘People are too desperate these days’ thought Elena.

Liam was speechless, he was just staring at her with his eyes as wide as moon in shock.

“Okay, goodnight everyone. It’s past bed time. We have college tomorrow” saying that Elena started gathering the empty can in the box.

Lily was looking at her with a mischievous smile on her cute face.

“I am going to bed after throwing this” said Elena with a wink.

“Give that to me. I will gather it. Take these to kitchen and go to your room” said Liam exchanging empty cans with filled ones.

He didn’t question her at all. He just exchanged the cans quietly. On the other hand, Luke was staring at them from the corner, observing their each and every move.

“Always so thoughtful” said Elena smiling and left the terrace.

Elena arranged the cans in the fridge and closed the door only see a giant figure standing next to the fridge door.

“Luke, what are you doing here? You startled me!” said Elena while keeping her hand on her racing heart.

Luke didn’t reply, he was just staring at her without blinking.

“What now? Want a detailed explanation of how am I going to defeat you?” asked Elena with a mocking smile.

“Is it Liam?” asked Luke in a demanding tone.

“Huh?” asked Elena confusedly.
