Brieanna woke up at almost 1 pm and because she woke up late she missed her free breakfast. So now what she did was just eat cookies after getting a new sim card. She needed it for booking a motorbike from a website called Book2wheel.
Getting at that website, she started filling up all the blanks and choosing how long, which motorbike, and blah blah blah. She immediately received a confirmation email with her reservation details and number from the website after choosing to pay cash when she picks up the motorbike. The only thing she needs to do now is wait for the motorbike owner to confirm.
It was almost two thirty in the afternoon when she received the confirmation text from the owner. She stopped writing and head out.
Brieanna didn't know where the meet up place was so she started to asked people from there.
"Uhm... excuse me," she asked a shop vendor. "Do you happen to know this place?"
The shop vendor who was an old man on his 80's just stared at her with a smile. She rolled her eyes in frustration, she needed to hurry up.
There's a lot of people there but most of them are just busy people who doesn't want to be disturbed.
"Do you know where this place is?" She asked again. Then again, the old man didn't answer.
Brieanna then heard a chuckle from behind her. She immediately frowned as she saw the guy from last night.
"What's with the face?" William asked with that cute smile. He was just passing by when he saw her asking around townspeople. Curiosity drove him to follow her.
"I'm frustrated because I can't find this damn place," she answered, being all grumpy while showing him the location.
"Oh so you went and rented a bike-cool," he said.
She frustratingly sighed and rolled her eyes because she thought this guy was going to help her but no! He noticed something different.
"Yeah and so I gotta go." Brieanna turned her back on him.
William smiled playfully. This girl really isn't in a bit interested about befriending someone, he thought.
"Enter the second left alley and just go straight. When you're out, you'll see another pathway just go straight again and then turn right. From there you'll see few board walks, get to the longest one's entrance," William abruptly navigated that made Brie to look back at him. "Well, hope you find it."
After saying that he turned his back on her and grinned. Seeing that irritated face of that girl, it makes him happy.
"Wait!" Brieanna yelled that made William to stop walking. "I'm sorry for being rude b-but I really need your help so please show me the way."
William turned to face Brieanna who was holding her breath and avoiding his gaze.
"On one condition," he said.
Brieanna frowned, she hates the sound of those three words.
"Tell me your name and I'll show you the way."
Brieanna thought about it as she glares at William.
"My name's Feliz so can we go now?" She lied.
William walk ahead of her and she followed. She was getting annoyed at how his aura was all of a sudden, changed. She shook her head. It isn't her concern!
After walking for about 15 long minutes they were already at the meeting place.
"So, I'll leave you now," William said.
"Yeah... uhm... thanks for helping me out," she shyly muttered. It was getting so awkward.
"I'm sure you don't want to know my name nor get my number, so I'll see you around, Brieanna." William walked away with a smirk on his face. He saw her name when she showed her the location, her details were also there so.
Brieanna released a short gasp. How on earth did that guy know her name? Was that why he went quiet? He knew she lied!
"You're stupid!" She mumbled as she slap her forehead couple of times. He probably thought she's a liar. Well she lied so what do she expect?
"Whatever!" She murmured to herself and waited for the motorbike.
•••
William looked at Brie from inside his car. The window is tinted enough for her to not see him inside. She doesn't even have a clue that it was his car that parked just two meters away from her.
Finally, the motorbike owner came and unloaded the motorbike from his truck. They talked for a moment and then the owner left.
He watched as Brie put on her helmet and hop on her rented bike. Then she drive away. William then started his car and followed her.
"Why are you following her?" William asked himself as he turned to a short cut. He was loosing her.
Good thing he's fast and a great driver. Where is she going? He asked hisself.
She was all over the town, she would only stop when she sees a cliff. Then she would take a pen and small paper to write something down.William continued to follow her around until she stopped in his property.
Brie walk towards the railed edge of the road and then spread her arms wide. The wind was just so fresh and she feels at peace atleast. This is the place, a beautiful place to die.
She looked at the big tall rock surrounded by the ocean. That's what she needs to climb and then boom! Her eyes caught a house at the side. There was a drive way down to the beach and that house. Then she climb the tall big rocks. Hmm maybe she can sneak in there.
Because she was so determined to make the place as her graveyard, she went down. She might get imprisoned for trespassing but there seemed to be no one living in the house.
She took off her shoes and went to the shoreline. As the wave crashed on her feet she smiled. Her smile faded when she recalled what happened when she was still seven years old.
It was a beautiful morning and she was swimming at a beach in their old town with her parents. She was at the side, almost at the shoreline enjoying the water when her parents had to go get food.
Then this guy named Effie-who was her childhood bestfriend's brother- came and took a swim too. Her parents had entrusted her to him.
Brie thought he was nice and that he came to her just to play the sand and pebbles but then...
Brie closed her eyes as she try not to cry at what happened to her. She heavily sighed looking up to stop her tears from falling.
"How could a paradise like this be the start of something so ugly and self wrecking as getting abused?" She muttered and then flashed a lonely smile. She then sighed as she thinks, it will all end soon.
William stared at the beach while he stays and lean forward on the rails on his front porch. Why was she staring at the ocean with those dreary eyes? He hasn't seen someone in the place who stared at the ocean like that. She seemed so lost. He closed his eyes. "You can't help her, William! You're as hopeless as her," William mumbled to himself, then he straight up drink the left beer in his bottle. ••• The next day William decided to visit Brieanna-well actually just spy on her. He went to the resort where she was staying. Why he knows? He owns the resort and he was the one who changed the price for her. He went aroun
Brieanna just had her free breakfast. She decided to wake up early today for it's her big day. She went to the public beach to just look around at people. How could everyone here be so happy? She asked in her mind. Everyone here smiles as if they don't have problems. When it was around 2:00 PM she decided to go back to her cottage. It's almost time and she had a wonderful lunch and morning so what's there to miss? She packed up her things in her bag. She decided to wear a plain white cocktail dress today, she put on a shade touch of nude matte lipstick, put on some mascara and comb her hair. No messy buns today, it's her funeral.Once she was satisfied with how she looked, she went out of her room and put the key on the doorstep. She hop on to her bike and started to drive at the meet
William was still catching his breath as he got home. He looked at where Brieanna always park her rented bike but there's nothing he saw. So he tossed his head up, frustrated that he couldn't find her!Why would she say have a good life if she won't do anything? She could've said good night! He thought. Ugh! Where could she be?William was about to go when at the far side of the next cliff he saw her spreading her arms. It looked like she was feeling the wind on her face. Her hair was being blown. He sighed in relief that he finally saw her alive and standing. He closed his eyes and looked down for a moment to finally catch his breath. The moment he look back at where she's at his eyes widened, she was nowhere. He frowned at her sudden disappearance.
"Here, change your clothes with these for now," William said handing her his big clothes and his boxer. Brieanna took the clothes he handed. She cleared her throat and looked at the side. "Thank you," she said shyly. "We'll get you new clothes tomorrow. More comfortable ones than my old clothes. Also you can change in that room," he said and pointed a room. "My room is in the opposite side. You're staying with me while you're in this island." She couldn't say anything, it's embarrassing that she's going to stay in William's place. "I'm going out to get us food. Don't try to kill yourself. Be good and feel at home." After saying that William left. Brieanna was still wrapped up in
"You sure you're okay wearing that?" William asked Brieanna for the 8th time now. Brieanna rolled her eyes as she closes the car door. "I told you it's fine. You helped me too much." "You help me more," William uttered and started to drive away. Brieanna doesn't know how to act around him anymore. She's quiet shy that she's indebted to him. At some point, she thinks they were destined to meet. How does a stranger save her like they already knew each other? "Do you surf?" He asked all a sudden that snapped Brie from thinking. "Hmm...no, I don't really." "Well, know how to?" He asked again.
At the house Brieanna immediately changed her clothes. She hasn't returned his clothes because she wanted to wash it first before giving it back to him. After changing, she went out and head to the dining table. She sat down facing William who was already eating. She remember what Dianne told her.New girl William brought...She continues to think about it, totally forgetting that William was in front of her."You know you can ask me if it's really that bothering," William uttered, snapping her out of her thoughts.Brieanna blinked thrice and cleared her throat. She took some hotdogs and bread completely disregarding what he uttered.
"So you basically did that?" William asked Brieanna. "Duh," she said and rolled her eyes. "I did so many crazy things but yeah that video just posted online on itself and everyone thinks I'm a slut and that's just fucked up." William chuckled, thinking that there was really more to this girl. He wish he could bring back the Brieanna she was just talking about. They just finished the fifteenth round of the game and now the sun is setting. "So what about you? How come you're living alone?" Brieanna asked. "I'm all grown up. I'm twenty four for Pete's sake," William cooly answered that made her raise a brow and gasped. "You're five years older than me!" She exclaimed. Not in her wi
"Took you long to get some drinks," Brieanna said, eyes narrowed at William. Being all alone and waiting in a crowded place isn't her favorite at all. "Sorry, I was caught on something," he replied, sitting beside her and handing her the water bottle. "You look like you were enjoying the lanterns though." "Yeah, they do look nice. They seem to light up everything in this night market." "I bet it makes your heart melt." Does it? Well it kind of, she thought. She was used to dark places. The ones that she can think clearly while the soft breeze touches her face or the ones that makes her lonely is her favorite. Something like this feels new to her since it has been a while.
A year since that day I ran away from home and decided to die on an island. I had the perfect idea of the perfect death. It was not unsuccessful. In fact, the lost soul, Brieanna died and is still submerged down the ocean floor. I never retrieved my backpack, it's my grave. Today, I am just with my surfboard, staring at the vast horizon, a golden one. The sun was setting beautifully like that day when I decided it was my last day on earth. It's majestic. The only difference was right now, the waves are crashing into my feet and I was not at a high place and I want to live. A corner of my mouth lifted when I saw the wave I wanted. I ran towards and embraced the ocean, not minding if it was cold or warm. I dived. With my chest on my board, I paddled to the lineup, my take-off zone. I waited and when I saw the wave I want, I chased it, ride it the way I would enjoy. With a grin on my face, I hop on my surfboard again. When I glanced at the shore, there I s
Florainne's birthday finally comes and Brieanna could not be more happy. The past few days since she came here have been really intense. Yes, Viola never asked her to leave nor was she offered money. But seriously, every now and then, Viola would indirectly tell her to leave the mansion, leave her children and leave them be! Oh if she could just leave without Florainne getting angry at her, and if the mansion was not so far away from the exit, oh dirt! She would have left already! Every time when Brieanna and Viola get to be alone, the demon in Viola comes out. Earlier this morning at breakfast, they had greeted Florainne with a happy birthday. They all looked like a happy family but Viola and Miller were not okay and so was Viola with everyone. It also looks like Viola is aware but she just would not care. Today is a busy day since all the preparations and the decor needs to be done before six in the evening because that is when the guests wou
Their plane just landed and Brieanna's legs felt like they have lost their strength. All the time she spent on the flight was her praying and hoping William's parents won't eat her alive. As they walk out of the airport, Brieanna was heading towards the line up for taxi when William grab her arm, pulling her towards the other direction. When she face ahead, her eyes widened at the Batmobile limo. "Are we r-really riding that?" "Though it's old, yes we are," he replied, flashing her a smile. A middle-aged man greeted them, opening the door for them. Of course, William let her enter first because he is a gentleman. The inside smelt expensive and she isn't comfortable at all. "Why can't we just ride a taxi instead?" "There's no taxi going to our house. They are just not allowed there." "So that means if I want to run away, I would need to run a couple of meters away to get a taxi?" "I wouldn't use '
It has been a week since Florainne and Ashton's visit came to an end. Now that Florainne's birthday party was coming, Brieanna could not focus on her work and neither could she on surfing. She has been telling Evie that she's really nervous and whenever she thinks of it her heart would not stop pounding. "Can we just move our flight, William? Make it like the very night of the party?" "Nope, I already booked the flight. It's tomorrow, Brie." William gave her a thin smile. "It'll be alright. Viola is the only enemy at the house. I'm sure father and you will get along like how you got along with Flora." "But Rain is a sweet girl! Your father is your father! He is a man!" She groans, rolling her eyes as she sits abruptly on the chair. "They are your parents!" Now she remembers how she was close with her parents too. Her parents were awesome until that accident had to take it all from her. It's just sad. Suddenly she felt William wrap
William woke up with the indistinct chatter he is hearing. And when he opened his eyes, he groaned because of the sunlight hitting his eyes. Damn it! His head is throbbing! Slowly, he sits up, his eyes still closed. Then he hears laughter from outside that made his brows draw together. One was sure Brieanna's but the other sounds like Florainne. To be sure, he got off his bed but once he did he felt dizzy that made him pause touching his forehead. After a while when the spinning stops, he continues to walk. When he was out of his door his eyes widened at the sight of Ashton just coming out of the other room. The young man immediately bowed his head down to him. "Master William, good morning!" If Ashton is here then he was not wrong when he thought he heard Flora's voice. But how would they know this place? "When did you--" "Yesterday, master William. Miss Brieanna came running to the resort to greet Miss Florainne," Ashton explains. "S
The room Florainne chose really shocked Brieanna that she 'eh' loudly. Why would William's sister want to sleep with her? Does she plan to kill her in her sleep? Since it has been decided, the young butler Ashton moved Florainne's luggage to Brieanna's room. Then after that, he left them to put his things in his room, telling the little missy that if she needed anything just knock on his door. Wow! Brieanna didn't think personal butlers still exist. "I search this up and the internet says I will be closer to you if I sleep with you," Florainne suddenly explained. Now that she said that, Brieanna gets it. "But why would you want to be closer to me?" "You are William's girlfriend, aren't you Miss Brieanna?" "Oh! Yes!" she chuckles nervously. "And yo-you can drop the 'miss'. You can call me sister too if you like. I think that would be cute." "A sister..." Florainne whispers, moving towards the bed and sit
Brieanna just got out of the shower when she hears a loud bang outside. Startled by that noise, she immediately walk towards her door, opening it and sticking her head out. Then she saw William's door open which made her frown. "William!" She calls but there was no answer. Slowly, she steps out of her room with only her towel around her naked body. Brieanna went past the living room and saw everything was fine. But what was the loud shutting of the door? Did William just storm out without saying anything? Was there an emergency? So, she went back and in front of her room, she suddenly faced William's open room again. With curiosity in her mind, she stepped inside his room. Nothing was a mess except for the towel on his bed. "Maybe there was just some emergency at the resort," she mumbles, shrugging as she turns around. Just as she was about to step away, she hears a ringing which made her turn around. Then she saw
After spending three days in the City, the four of them together with Mochi returned to the Island at last. Now that they are finally back, Brieanna was better than when she left. When they got home, she immediately went out to surf. Oh, how she missed the cold water, the warm sun, and the waves! She feels really alive to be back here again, no worries in her head, no more heavy burden. As soon as she sees her wave, she chased it, ride it before it broke and dissolves entirely. Just after some minutes, she sees William with his board, paddling towards her who just finished riding one. Her prince coming to meet her in paradise. "You are getting better and better. The way you snap and turn, it's sure a unique one," William commented that made her smile. Even she is aware that she has improved a lot. "I don't know how I did that. I just know it's kind of the right time to do that. I think it worked." "It did work." "I spent al
Around six in the evening when the four of them gathered inside William's hotel room. What Brieanna did to cover up her love bite is put some plaster strips there, saying Mochi had accidentally scratched her. Evie seemed to believe it which relieved her. If Evie believes it so will the rest of her family. "So, what did you guys do?" Richard suddenly asked them that flustered Brieanna. "We went somewhere to get some hot and spicy ramen," William answered. Although he lied, it saved both of them. "There's a ramen place here? We should all go there together before we leave!" "We are having dinner at Brieanna's place! Don't be stupid, point one! We'd be full by then!" "Oh yeah, I forgot to ask what time the dinner was." She took out her phone from her pocket and texted Kendal. Just some seconds later, she got a reply that says eight. Judging from the hotel's location, they should go around seven twenty-five since for sure they'll be spending
