After attending to everything for the day, sending off the alphas and finally sorting out everything he wanted for the day, Ronan heaved a sigh of relief, leaning into his chair with his eyes closed. His mind went to Stacey, since the last time she sent him off, he has not gone to check up on her or send word to her. He sighed, her father’s words ringing in his head, could it be true? That Stacey never met her mother.

Maybe it was true. He has read in places that mother’s love is different and no matter what, they always love their children. He smiled to himself, thinking for her how it would have been different if she found her biological mother. She might have gotten her father’s love too, and if not, she would have gotten her mother’s love at the most. He stood up from the chair, opening his eyes and making his way out of the study.
