“You’re a murderer. Nothing but a murderer.” Someone shouted in the crowd, throwing a glass plate on Stacey.

She tried to block it before it could hit her but it was too late. She yelped out as it hit her, tearing a part of her face as blood crawled out.

“I’m not a murderer! I did not kill anyone! Listen to me!” She yelled out.

Her eyes scanned the crowd as something hit her again. She stopped at the small children she used to play with, crouching as she tried to touch them. Her hand hung midway as the children shifted away from her,

“Zach, I didn’t kill anyone. I thought we’ve become friends.” She said.

“Murderer.” The boy said, disappearing into the crowd.

“Ahh.” She shrieked out in pain as someone kicked her, causing her to lose her balance as she fell to the floor again.

She clenched her jaw, not wanting to get provoked by them. She had just left the priestess house and was going to the house to confront Ronan when they all ganged up on her. Someone would be here soon,
