“What happened next?” Silica asked.

This was the first time I had a chance to spend time with her in a week. After the incident at the last event, I have been busy. I also needed time to adjust to everything that had changed. Now, we were getting ready to attend the full moon event.

“Nothing happened.” I rolled my eyes as I had an idea of where her mind wandered.

“Seriously.” I sighed. “Anyways, I had every intention to kick him out, but he pinned me down and refused to let me up until I talked to him. I wanted to stay mad at him but didn’t have it in me.”
