Chapter 27

From the Mist lands it was but a few days to get to Red River lands, Jay and Christian’s heads were on constant swivel, as was Lance’s and his Beta, Devyn. Lance had yet to take a Gamma, but Devyn was more than capable of keeping Lance’s man child ass in line in his own way. I liked the Beta well enough; he was typically a bit more reserved than Lance, but that wasn’t saying much. It made for a livelier trek into the Red River territory, and I did feel a bit better with the two additions to our group.
