Chapter 11

"I love you, Marrallyn! Thank you for this new joy!" he whispers in my ear as he swings me around.

I giggle as he swings me around one more time. "Yo tambien te amo, Jason! I should be thanking you." I giggle even harder as he sets me on my feet and kisses me until I stop giggling.

Five minutes later the nurse comes in and gives me the paperwork I need and we head to the front to schedule the appointment with the OBGYN and that's set for December 21st. I'll be ten weeks along at that time and only six weeks after that, we'll be able to have an ultrasound done and we can find out the gender of our baby.

"Want to hang out at my house tonight?" I ask him as we head to his car.

"Sure, I'd love, too," he says as he pulls out of the parking lot and onto the street.

Ten minutes later, he parks his car in his driveway and as we start to head across the street, his mom stops us before we hit the end of the driveway.

"Jason, your dad called again," Jessica says, meeting us half-wa
