We Met Again

Chapter Ten

     Author POV

She stood up and her feet, and snapped her head to where the voice came from, but was shocked at who she was welcomed with, those grey eyes, she could never forget, that pointed nose, that her hand itched to poke, those sensual lips, which is alluring. It was her Mr handsome, the weird guy.

Slowly, she found her anger, dissipating slowly, the blaze on her body slowly faded away, as her eyes became normal pale blue again. In as much as she wanted to run, she just couldn't bring herself to doing it, as she found her curiosity to know who he was, kept getting the best of him. She turned to face her fully, maintaining her distance, so she could run for her dear life, if anything goes wrong.

"We met again." He smiled at her, as he batted his long lashes, a sweet and most beautiful smile, settling on his face, and as his dimples formed on his both cheeks, she just couldn't help, but drool at the demi god, standing before her. She wondered if there was anyone that could be as good looking and perfect looking as this man, for some reasons best known to her, she wished and prayed he turns out to be her mate. She had read many werewolves books, where a she wolf, meets her mate at times in the woods, she just couldn't help, but prayed that her own story turn same way.

"Hi...hi!" She stuttered, trying as much as not to give in to her nervousness, but it was still obvious anyways.

"Hi!" The young handsome man replied, studying the lady, standing before him.

An awkward silence took over the atmosphere, the only sound that could be heard, was that of the chirping sounds of birds, and the sound of the wind, blowing on the trees. Octavia felt her heart racing, in both fear and curiosity, she was scared of the man, being one of their enemies, and curious, to know his identity.

"Who are you?" She mustered courage to ask the young man, after a long silence, as she prayed silently, hoping for a positive answer. She knows this might be the end of her, if he turns out to be their enemy, she rebuked herself, for not listening to her mother, when she was calling her. She stared at the demi god before, anticipating for the worst to happen.

"My name is Kai." The young man finally answered, but that didn't satisfied her curiosity and fear, she wanted to know more about her prince charming.

"So, what's your name?" The man asked in return, staring deep into her pale blue eyes, like the answers were written on her face, or maybe he wanted looking into her soul.

She swallowed the lump in her throat, as she contemplated, whether to tell him her name or not. Different thoughts came flashing through her mind, as she stared at the young man. What if she told h her name, and he report her to the Alpha? Won't her parents be in trouble?

"Octavia." She finally told the anxious man, who has been waiting for what seemed like forever.

The young man creased his brows, and stared at the beauty goddess for a while, with a blank expression on his face, which only lasted for a few seconds, before it dissipated into a suspicious smile, which made Octavia really uncomfortable.

"So, how about we go tour the woods? It'll be fun, trust me." He gave her a sincere smile, but the lady was scared of following the stranger, asking to go on a tour with her. What if he kidnapped her? What if he take her away, and she never get to see her parents again.

"Stop thinking too much, I'm not a rouge." He cuts her off, rolling his eyes. Wow, he look extremely cute, making that face.

"I have to go home." Octavia said, and without waiting to hear his voice out, he turned and started going towards one direction, which she wasn't sure, whether it'll lead her to her destination, all she needed at thay moment, was to get away from the stranger, trying to get so close to her.

Walking down the woods, without looking back at the man, that keeps filling her head, and messing up her mind, she suddenly halt abruptly, as she felt her legs rooted to the ground. She tried moving from the spot, but it seemed impossible, as an unknown force, was holding her down. Her heart flustered, as she gulped down nothing, trying to wrap her head around what could be wrong. In as much as she knew that it might be the work of the stranger, she didn't wanna believe that the young man would do a thing like that, she dismissed the thoughts, and convinced herself that it wasn't possible.

Still struggling to free herself from the unknown force, holding her down, she froze on her spot, as someone teleported to her front. Her eyes darted to the shoes, which the mysterious person was wearing, and it looked familiar. Raising her head to confirm her curiosity, a gasp escaped her lips, as her eyes widened in shock. She couldn't believe that her very own prince charming, has the ability of teleporting.

Gulping down the lump in her throat, her body trembled in fear, as she anticipated for the worst, maybe he was her enemy after all, maybe he just has the ability of seducing his preys. Oh moon goddess! Is this how she's gonna end up? Is this how she's gonna be separated from her loving parents? How could she be this stubborn? Even if he was going to kill her, could he please, let her see her parents, at least for once? Tears found their ways out of her eyes, as she stared at her doom, standing before her. The fact that the stranger, who was smiling a while ago, being all friendly, was now maintaining a straight face, made her quiver....
