Chapter 4

William immediately looked back when he heard a voice calling his name. He was surprised to see a foreign man in this house. Curiosity wanted to immediately ask him.

  “Sorry, who are you?” William asked with a twinkle in his eye.

  “I'm John. A new gardener in the house, William! May I help you create a new file for your employer's presentation?” John actually asked William back by offering himself, who wanted to help him.

  “Don't! It's going to be a hassle for you later!” asked William, still confused.

  Johannes actually laughed at William's words and did not answer his question, but immediately closed the suitcase in front of William and took it to the kitchen.

  William immediately followed his footsteps because he felt strange with John's behavior, who suddenly took his suitcase without permission.

  When he got to the kitchen, Johannes put the suitcase on the floor and checked several other files to be used as examples in making the missing file.

  William, who had been standing behind him all this time, immediately looked at him in astonishment because he was working on the file smoothly and without any problems.

  “Mr. Johannes, have you ever worked in an office before? I can see that you are good at making that file. You must have had a lot of experience,” William asked in the middle of his curiosity.

  “That's right William. Even now, I'm working at your company, William!” said Johannes, who wanted to be honest with John because he felt sorry if William had been in the Audrey family too long.

  “You mean Mr. Johannes, Mrs. Audrey's company?” William asked because all he knew was his wife's company.

  Hearing William's innocent words, actually made John laugh. He immediately opened the photo that was in his pocket, namely a photo of William with his biological father and mother, which was then shown to him.

  “This is like my face, Mr. John! Who are those men and women?” William asked again because so far, he had never seen his biological parents.

  “These are your parents William, I should have wanted to be a gardener in this house first to be able to observe your movements here. However, I can't bear it if you are despised in this family for too long. So, come with me. Actually, you are Mr. Joy's biological son, whom you just talked to during the presentation,” Johannes tried to explain everything to William because he would rather not take his time.

  William, who heard his words, still couldn't believe that he was a descendant of a wealthy nobleman. Even for a moment, there was silence. Mr. Daniel, who happened to have finished mowing the grass and was about to get some water, was surprised by their conversation. He immediately walked behind William to his feet.

  “Mr. Johannes, tell the truth, are you serious if I am Mr. Joy's biological son?” William asked again to be certain.

  Without answering William's question, John's left hand immediately reached into his trouser pocket and opened the paper containing William's original birth certificate.

  The writing contained the name of William Albert, who was born from Stefan's womb, a mother who had given birth to him and died of cancer, and his biological father, Joyce Albert.

  Instantly, William's tears fell and wet the paper he had just read. A feeling of happiness enveloped his heart for a moment. Likewise with Mr. Daniel, who listened to his conversation, he was happy with the revelation of William's true identity.

  “William, it turns out that you are the son of a conglomerate. You are entitled to find your happiness with your real biological parents. Just ignore this arrogant family, pretend you have paid Mr. Robert's mandate. Surely if this family finds out your true identity they will take advantage of you.” said Mr. Daniel, depicting a happy face because he saw William's happiness.

In William's mind, there is also truth in what Mr. Daniel said. Because it could be that when Audrey's family finds out her identity, will take advantage of her parents' wealth.

  “Mr. Daniel, let me make an announcement at this family dinner. I will invite William to return to Mr. Joy's house and tell him to leave the woman who has despised him. Do you agree, William?” before deciding, John again questioned William to find out his agreement.

  There was a feeling of doubt in William's heart. But after a moment of thought, William nodded his head in agreement.

  Johannes immediately started working on Audrey's file, which had disappeared quickly because it was already getting late. Surely, all family members will soon have dinner together.

  Meanwhile, William is still the identity of Audrey's driver. He immediately washes the car, as he usually does every day after he uses it for activities.

  William finished his assignment on time because by the time the sun had set, all his work was done. Likewise with Johannes, who had just finished Audrey's file.

  “William, now you just follow me in the kitchen and don't meet Audrey. I want you to be beside me when I announce your identity in front of them,” said Johannes, who met William in the yard. William just smiled and nodded to follow his orders.

  When it was getting very dark, all the members of Mrs. Hans' family had gathered in the dining room. Delicious food dishes have been served on the table with a variety of side dishes on it. Likewise with John, he has prepared everything neatly.

  Audrey, who realized that William was not by her side to always serve and fetch rice for her, she immediately poured out her emotions in front of her mother.

  “William! Come here quickly! Get me some rice!” shouted Audrey with an annoyed face even though the rice was already in front of her. But he always relied on the service of William.

  Audrey tried to call William several times, but there was no answer from her husband. Until Mrs. Hans joined in commenting on William.

  “William! If you still want to be in this house, you have to do what we say. Are you deaf or pretending to be deaf? Come here quickly, or we'll kick you out and Audrey will file for divorce.” Mrs. Hans' words had been successfully heard by John's ears perfectly. He purposely told William not to obey the orders of the arrogant family and told him to stay in the kitchen.

  The shouts of Audrey and Mrs. Hans who shouted at each other brought about a sense of emotion in John because he did not accept that William was insulted. Finally, with brisk steps, he walked towards the dining room.

  “Good evening, dear Mrs. Hans and Mrs. Audrey. Could you speak a little more politely?” John said with authority.

  “John. You are the new gardener today. You are so brave to say such things to us, I want to fire you.” snapped Mrs. Hans in an emotional tone.

  Hearing Mrs. Hans' words, John's hand immediately opened a piece of paper to read it immediately.

  “Your Excellency Hans and Mrs. Audrey, listen carefully to what I have to say. Don't let you regret it. You should know that I was never afraid if you were fired this second. I will also give shocking news if William Albert, a husband of Mrs. Audrey who humiliated, is the sole heir of the Albert Company. He is Joyce Albert's biological son, here's the proof.” John said as he thrust the paper on the dining table.

  Instantly, Audrey and Madam Hans' faces flabbergasted in surprise.
