Michael's pov -

The early morning air is crisp and cool as I walk past the office guard, his surprise evident in his eyes as they widen upon seeing me at such an ungodly hour. "What are you doing at the office at this time, Sir? It's 7 am only," he stammers, clearly taken aback by my unexpected appearance.

I give him a curt nod, my face a mask of determination. The truth is, I can't bear another moment in that suffocating house, the walls echoing with doubts and questions that gnaw at my mind.
