Chapter 25 – Beginning

2024-10-29 19:42:56Alena is shaking. She did something in public that may cause her family some trouble. Just what kind of deal did her dad had with the Woods? She snorted at realizing something. Reeds. Woods. It’s not funny. She walked quickly, momentarily forgetting where she parked her car. She turned right and spotted her vehicle. Behind her, Christan walked the same pace as her. He watched her escape. Isn’t she planning on talking to him? Why did she just leave?
When she opened the door of her car, that’s when she noticed his presence. He was walking towards her and she’s not sure how to feel. Half of her is relieved to see him. Half of her is terrified. Is he angry?
“I’m sorry you had to witness that.” By the time she finished that sentence, he was already in front of her.
They stared at each other, until she felt like squirming under his piercing gaze.
“You did well.” He stated as he reached for her curls.
