Chapter 8

Charlie's Pov

Another boring day, Drake is not here as well as Blue. I have no one to play with, Drake should have brought me with him instead. Even Blue can, so why can't I?

What should I do now? Talk to Barney? Invite Naruto and have tea parties? Sigh. It's hard to think because I feel like I might get a fever. 

Ah! Yeah that's right! I'm also brainy and not just cute, in fact I'm smarter than Blue. 

Wait, how do I get there again? Argh, nevermind I'll just wait for a taxi. Its Drake's fault for not letting me drive his car, I definitely know how to drive one it's just that Drake doesn't trust me. A-and I just bump his car once no twic—okay fine! Four times but I can drive now. Stingy.

I'm already here outside of our house, Drake forbid me to use the guards to be my driver because it's not their job, tsk! Those taxi drivers are not stopping, why? Aren't they supposed to stop when I wave my hand when they're near and about to pass? Isn't that the way to call a taxi? 

This one, I'll make sure that  the taxi will stop right in front of me. I walked on the middle of the road and spread both of my arms, am I not a genius? Then What am I?

And shoot! The taxi driver stopped, I can even see his face and widened eyes. He's hilarious, I like him. Like he's telling me, what are you doing? He looks surprised about what happened. Don't worry mr. Driver, I exactly know what you're feeling when those other taxi passed me.

I opened the door and hopped in." Mr. at **** mall po."- I smiled at him but he's still looking at me. Is he captured by my beauty? Unfortunately, I already have a husband. 

"Miss, are you crazy?"- Hm? Huh? 

"Mr., no, I'm not why?"- Is there a problem? 

"Miss, next time don't do what you did earlier or you will just get hurt."- If those drivers stopped then I wouldn't have a problem and did that.

"They are not stopping."- I got irritated. 

"Miss, of course they won't because there's a line of taxi on the other street and we're not allowed to take passenger here."- Huh? When did that happen? Why I didn't know about that? Who did that ridiculous rule? 

"Are you serious about that?"- You're not kidding? 

"Sigh. We're already here, next time don't do that. The fee is ₱300."- Why so fast? I didn't even felt the taxi move. 

I looked around me and there's a lot of people. Humans really like shopping, don't they? Some of them are carrying a lot of things. 

Ah! "It's hot!"- I look at my dress that is now dirty because of something hot that poured on me. Who the hell bump me?! Does he have no eyes?

"I'm sorry, I didn't intend to pour my drink on you"- He is literally panicking and he doesn't know what to do with his hands. He's been doing hand gestures that I can't understand. 

"I didn't saw you, I'm sorry"- He took out his handkerchief and tried to wipe off the dirt but it won't go. How am I suppose to walk around looking like this?

"My dress."- I faked cry to see his reaction 'cause it's cute. He even panicked more. He's cute and has the looks. 

"Let me buy you a new dress to compensate my mistake, please."- Really? He will buy me a new one? 

"Sure, sure"- I can walk around again and in a new dress!

"I'm really sorry for what happend"- He's kind. 

"It's okay, you will buy me a new one and that's enough for me."- I glance at him and he really got the looks. Thick eyebrows, pointed nose, long eyelashes and he has  dimples. His jaw is also sexy, his built is good. I won't deny that he is sexy and gorgeous but no one can beat Drake.  

I chose a simple dress, and the most cheap one because my dress is not really expensive. I went out of the fitting room to let him see what I have chose. 

"This one? It's okay right?"- I smiled at him, don't be sad nor frown in front of a handsome guy. 

"Yeah, you look magnificent"-I'm glad he likes it.  " I'm Adrien Pride."- He stretched his hand in front of me. 

"I'm Charlie Carter nice to meet you."- I reached for his hand before introducing myself. He has a soft palm. No callous at all.

We talked a lot about anything, he even treated me a food and of course I didn't refused him. He's seems a nice guy and I think he won't do anything bad at me. 

I enjoyed being with him because he has a sense of humor unlike Drake who looks like a son of hatred. He won't even make a joke or take a joke from me. 

Pride drove me back to my house but before I could go in, he wanted me to give him my number so I did 'cause why not? He treated me and bought me a new dress, I even told him to come and visit sometimes so that I can have someone to play with. I won't be bore.

I went inside of the house after our talk and head straight to my room. I took off my clothes first, I want to take a shower before laying down on my bed. I feel sticky. Hm, did Drake already ate? He must be busy today, I should call him tomorrow to check how he's doing there. 

I laid on my bed after I dried my hair and I felt the tiredness I didn't felt earlier. I'm glad I wandered in that place, I saw a lot earlier. Different things and interesting things that some people would enjoy. I'm sure I won't be bored on the next few days.
