I spend all day running around helping the pack get ready for this storm. We move everyone into the dorms we have set up. We move all of the tents and the loose items into the castle as well. I tie down all the bigger item's that we can't take in to the castle, I tie them to the cars, or to the tree's, or to the pillers arround the buildings near the castle. I don't really care about loosing any of these things, most of them can be replaced pretty easiely, but I would be heart broken if one of these items was to fly through the air and kill a child, or a member of my pack.
I check on the warriors who are boarding up the windows, thankfully the castle doesn't have any glass over its windows, only the other building within the walls. There are still a lot of windows, but most can be reached from the ground or a small folding ladder. The warriors are making good progress, so I leave them to their work.
The castle does have windows, they are just open holes, most o
I take Greyson back down to the dining hall, to check the schedule, if I am remembering right his father, Nolan, is on patrol right now. Whenever his father is on guard duty or patrol his mother, Janet, spends most of her time helping out in the kitchen. She gets worried about Nolan, so she likes to keep busy, Greyson is supposed to be in school with the other first graders, but I think everyone is a little distracted by the hurricane prep we are in the middle of. "Hey, have you seen Janet or Nolan?" I ask a group of warriors that I find gathered in the dining hall chatting. "I think Nolan is on the wall, but Janet is in the kitchen with Miss Frankie, the last of the food just came in, and she was helping find a place to store it all." One of them tells me with a small bow. "Thank you" I answer back and carry Greyson into the kitchen with me to find his mom. His pain killers finally kicked in, so he is no longer hurting, but still, I am bringing h
We join the pack as they file into the dining hall, we take our seats and wait while Miss Frankie and her staff finish setting up the buffet dinner. I greet the pack members as they pass us. Some look happy, others look scared. "Queen Annie, King Ansel" Ryker says, bowing her head to each of us in turn. "I have an update on the storm, it is moving faster than they originally said." "Then... When will it hit?" I ask Ryker. "It will make landfall in in 2 hours. Depending on how much the storm slows down once it makes landfall, I looked it up, hurricane's slow down once they hit land. But sometimes they slow down a lot all at once, and sometimes it takes time... But the news is saying it will get to us in the middle of the night rather than in the morning." Ryker tells me. "Very well... how are the preparations going?" I ask him. "We are nearly done, I let everyone break for dinner. I think we have about an hours worth of
I grab one of the throw blankets to cover myself just incase someone else comes in the room before Ansel does. But I don't need to worry, I am only waiting for a few minutes before Ansel walks in the room. He freezes in the door way, stairing at me. His eyes move up and down my body, as he bites his lip, but he doesn't move. I hear footsteps coming up behind him, causing Ansel to growl so loudly it makes me jump. Suddenly he slams the door shut, locking it at the same time, and then he is on the bed over me. Stairing deep into my eyes, a low rumbling growl leaves his throat in the most seductive way, making my pussy flood instantly. I lean up and kiss him, hard. Ansel kisses me back, as he grinds him hips into mine, making me moan in a low voice. I reach up and unbutton Ansel's shirt, he kisses my neck as his hand trails from my knee, slowly up my thigh, bringing my shirt up with his hand, to my hips. His fingers tighten, squeexing my hips as he pushes his pelv
I wake up to a soft knocking at the door. I am wrapped up in Ansel's arms, covered in blankets, I feel warm and safe, this shiney after glow moment would be perfect if there was not someone knocking on the door begging for my attention. I look up at Ansel, he is still fast asleep, I want to let him rest, he put in a lot of work last night. I try to slip out from under his arms, moving nice and slow so as not to wake him. I inch my way out of the bed, the moment I stand up I notice that my whole body is sore in the best way. Every time I more I feel the shadows of Ansel's touch on my body. I look around for something to wear, the first thing my eyes fall on is the sheet from the bed, laying on the floor next to me. I wrap myself up in the sheet and answer the door. I instantly regret opening the door. Standing there in front of me is my father, and I do not want to see him. "Ben, what can I do for you?" I ask him, my voice is in a for
We spend the day in the smallest of the castle's ball rooms with the children, making paper flowers, butterflies, and snowflake's to cover the walls. The smaller children simply scribble on paper with random colors, insisting that their art work also be taped up onto the walls. We serve them lunch in this room, finger sandwiches cut in the shapes of hearts, stars, and circle's, which I imagine must be the only cookie cutters the right size that Miss Frankie could find. We also have chips, cut fruit, and carrot sticks. After lunch I teach the children how to make beads out of colored paper. Then we string them onto necklace's. The older children help me make a very very long paper chain, we hang it all across the room, from the walls, the chandelier's, and the candle brackets near the doors. By dinner time that evening the whole room looks like a craft's store threw up in it. There is rather a mess of crayon writing on the walls, and paint spilled on the dance floor's. But th
The moment I see Ri'elle I can tell by the look in his eye that he is thinking the same thing that I am, this lightening is not part of the storm. It is part of an attack on the pack. "Meet me in my room, in 15 minutes. Bring Micheal and Paula if you see them. No one else yet, I want to talk with just us first." I tell him. "Okay, I will see you there. I haven't seen Micheal, but I know where Paula is." Ri'elle says, then she turns and walks away. I turn and head back to my room, looking for Micheal as I go. I find him in the hallway headed to the bathroom. I tell him we are planning a meeting in my room in a few minutes and he agrees to come. I also find Ansel along the way and bring him back to my room with me. We quickly clean up the floor and clear a space for the five of us to sit on the floor while we talk. After a few minutes the others arrive, Paula has her Amore with her, I don't know him well enough to know if we can
I race through the hall ways, fighting to keep from shifting. I have never this emotional as a werewolf, I was always just a human, now I am fighting for control of my own body. I reach the doors and they are locked. Without even thinking about it, I break the lock's, throwing the doors open. I practially fall into the room, I look down at my feet to see a man on the ground, I can see that he is breathing, but other than that he is not moving. I look around the room to see about one thrid of the adults on the ground. Children are standing over their parents immobile bodies, screaming and crying. I quickly take in those on the ground, people from each of the two packs that merged. The adults who remain awake are tring in vain to comfort the children, but they are not listening, and I can't blame them. I reach out through the pack link, as the queen if I choose to I can feel both the emotions and the physical pain or sensations of the entire pack. As I reac
"We need to move all of the livestock to the third floor of the west tower, as fast as we can. I want you guys to start on that, Ri'elle need's a few other things from my room. I am going to run up and fetch those, then I will join you to move the animals." I tell them, I know that they want to know the whole plan, but I don't have the time to explain everything right now, and thank the heavens they both know better then to ask. We reach a fork in our pathes, I need to go left, up to my room, they need to go right, down to the room where we are keeping the smaller livestock animals. "Go up to the right, third door on the left, follow that hall till you get to the stairs going down, take the stairs and then to the left you will find the chickens, follow the noise. The other small animals are all along that hall." I tell them, then I turn around and ru the other way towards my room. I throw open the door and dive for the closet. I dig through and find my bag with o
I turn to Ansel, not sure what to do about this vampire who has tried to kill me multiple times suddenly claiming to give me his alegence. *Give him an order, say a few orders out loud, but only put your authority into one, maybe that will help us know if he is lying..?* Ansel tells me through the mind link. I nod, then I turn to this vampire king to give my orders "Stand on your feet, spin around, tell me your name, touch your nose" Only a werewolf, vampire, witch, or other person magicly bound to me would be able to tell which one of these orders was the one with power behind it. But, as I speak the vampire does rise to his feet, he is slow to follow my second command, I can see he is thinking it through. The moment I give the order for him to tell me his name he follows the order without hesitation. "I am Samuel Keith Singer, King of the Vampires." He tells us. Before I can say anything else Ri'elle rushes out into the hall, he takes in the scene around him, his fingers are twi
Many in the pack are against the idea of a pack member adopting a child who is not a werewolf. They do not say so directly to me, but I can feel the stare's as I walk around with Nicky trailing behind me. I think that if I was anyone else besides the queen they would be much more vocal about their disapproval, or maybe it is because they can sense that Nicky is not human, so they figure he will not pose as much of a threat to the pack that a normal human would. Either way, I have decided to address the pack at dinner tonight. I want everyone to know that Nicky saved my life, but I also need them to know that he is MY child, and if anyone tries to hurt him they will have to go through me. Once everyone has taken their seats I call them to attention and introduce Nicky to the pack as my child. Ansel stands to his feet and addresses the pack. "He is OUR child. I know that a lot of you are going to find this odd... adopting a child from outside the pack is... uncommon to say the lea
I quickly untie the ropes from my legs, but I stay where I am on the ground, knowing my legs will be to shaky to hold me up. My Ansel suddenly apears, jumping over the limo, taking the vampire king down to the ground in one move. Then he takes the kings head off in one bite. The rest of my warriors are here now, fighting vampires on all sides. I watch in horror as one of my warriors move in, to attack Nixie, I jump to my feet and place myself inbetween Nixie and the warriors. The warriors stop dead in their tracks, tilting their wolfish heads at me, tying to understand why I am stopping them from saving me. "No, he is with me... He saved me... He is just a baby..." I pant out. The warriors nod and turn back to the vampires to finish killing the last of them. Nixie trasforms again, this time he is a pure white horse. He walks over to me and nudges his head under my arm, helping me stay on my feet. With Nixie's help I climb onto his back, and I ride on his
Over the next two days the whole pack pulls together to help the towns around us. We work our way down the street from the pack castle into the town, once we reach the edge of town each house that we pass we check for people in need of help. There was a lot of flooding in this area so we make is a point to check every house for the injured or trapped people. Most people evacuated the area before the storm hit, so many of the houses are empty, but we search them all anyways. This storm was predected to be more on the mild side, so people expected to be gone from their homes for only a few days, because the roads are not passable people can not return. We find some pets in houses alone, when we find a pet in an empty house we leave a note with a phone number and we take the pet back to the castle to be fed and taken care of until their families return. I want to lead the pack as we clear the roads, but the warriors of the pack insist on keeping me surrounde
It takes the whole pack working together for three days to get the whole castle and grounds cleaned up. Thanks to the warriors and other pack members who boarded them up, most of the windows are fine. But a lot of trees came down, and a few of them landed on some of the buildings on the grounds. The larger brick buildings are largely okay, a couple of them need new roofs put in. It is the smaller wooden buildings that took the most damage, a couple of them will need to be completely demolished, and a few others will need some major renovations to be usable again. I spend my days cutting the fallen trees into logs, so they can be moved out of the way of the rest of the clean up efforts. Once that is done I split the logs into fire wood. My back and shoulders are killing me after a two whole days of splitting and stacking logs. Ansel spends his days loading our dump trucks with pieces of the broken buildings, the warriors dump the debry from the trucks in one big
I know that I already agreed to help Ri'elle with his spell, and I will, but the thing is... After the regular spell work part of it...Ri'elle says in order to seal the magic I need to kiss Ansel. I have never done a spell that requires love kiss in order to seal the magic, but he says that this spell needs it. I know he would not lie to me, and I will do the magic he needs me to, the thing is that I think this spell maybe too advanced for me. I wish that Ri'elle was well enough to work the spell himself. Ansel walks with me in silence to our room, I am thankful that he lets me walk without talking because I need the time to sort out my feelings about this spell, and also to work up the courage to try this spell since I am not a full witch and my not have enough experience to work this spell.Once we make it to our room I ask Ansel to sit on the bed quietly so I can make myself ready for the spell. I change into a pure white dress, then I cleanse the space by burning sage. I finish s
"Micheal, thank you for meeting me here. I didn't want to leave her alone while she is still asleep...Something strange happened last night, and it wasn't the first time... There is something wrong with her..." I tell him in a low voice. "Okay, slow down and start from the beginning." Micheal tells me. "Okay, well... You know when we marked each other, tight?' I ask him, he nods and I go on. "Well, then on the first night we stayed in this room she made a big deal out of having sex, like it was the first time. And then she marked me again, and she had the same reactions to the marking as the first time." I tell him, then I pause and take a deep breath, I hate that I have to talk to Micheal about our sex life. "Okay, but that was 2 nights ago, so what happened last night that made you call me here so early in the morning..?" Micheal asks me. "She did the same thing, she initiated sex and then acted like it was the first time again. At
I follow Micheal as he takes me on a tour of the worst of the wounded. There are only a few people who got hurt badly enough to need to see a doctor, a few warriors where on the stairs when they passed out and as a result they fell down the stairs. One older man fell onto his tool box giving himself a concusion, and a few other fell in similar way. There is a total of 8 broken bone's and 3 concusions. Plus the 5 mothers who went into labor as a result of the stress from passing out the way they did. There was a total of 544 pack memebers effected by the spell, and only 18 people where hurt or effected badly enough to need to seek medical attention right away. The other 526 people have been givin the order to report to the hospital wing within the next 2 days, refusal to do so will result in punishment. I hate the idea of threatening the pack members, but this is how things are done, and everyone knows that I hate doing it, so they know to really listen when I do make t
I rush to the west tower, I have a bad feeling that something went wrong on Ri'elle's end. I race up the stairs and burst into the room, I find Ri'elle in the center of the room, spiritual energy fills the room, he is covered in his own blood, it looks as though the spirits are trying to rip him apart limb from limb. I know that if I siply rush to him the connection will be broken and his spell will backfire onto him completely. Right now I am thinking that maybe the spirits simply do not like the offering that he used. I skirt around the edges of the room, being carefull not to touch any of the silks. I make my way over to the rabbits in their cages, I reach in and take out one, I slit its throa and coat myself in its blood, saying a quick cleansing ritual as I do. Then I take a few cautious steps towards Ri'elle, then the door bursts open again and I see Ansel with some warriors right behind him. "STOP!" I order. "Leave, go check on the pack, if you touch any
