Once we have our plan's figured, we spend the rest of the day and half the night preparing our spell's.
We decide that Paula and Tom should not mark each other until after the council get's here. Since the only proof we have of an Omega is Tom himself, his scent is that of an Omega. As soon as they mark each other Tom will be raised up to Paula's rank.
Tom and Paula are both okay with waiting since it is only few days.
We spend the second day making our preparations, most of the spells we work go over smoothly. The protection spell for the safe houses was a little more complicated then I had originaly thought. I call Ri'elle for advice.
"Hey Ri... It's me. Listen... We are trying to work a protection spell over a few safe houses, I have a spell from this book 'White magic for times of war' It seemed pretty straight forward, but now..." I jump straight into the issue, knowing that neither of us has time to waste at the mom
Once we are all ready we decide now is the best time to make a big show of Tom and Paula being Amore's.We had gotten so busy with planning out defences that we didn't have time to make them known to the pack. Instead we kept him with at least one of us at all times, making sure that we never let him be seen by Chad or his mate. This was easy since those two avoided us at all cost, and everyone else just assumed that he was a part of our group. So today is the perfect day to make our stand. We are rather intimitating, dressed as we are for battle. The five of us decide to spend the day out in the pack, taking our meals with the pack, walking around the main square, and makeing sure that we are seen by as many people as possible.Nothing much happens until lunch time. Most people are just ignoring us, but then when we sit down for lunch... We sit with a group of warriors and their families. This is when Chad enters the room, with An
Ansel leads us through the pack house, I can sense the council is not comfortable with being led around by what they view as children. We enter the meeting chamber, there is a large confrence table that seats about 50 in the center of the room. One wall is liner with couches, the other is lined with book shelves, most of which is empty. I walk to the far side of the room, and take a seat at the head of the table. I know as a woman I will make the council even more uncomfortable by running this meeting, but I also know that I am the one who needs to do this. I seat Ansel to my right, followed by Micheal, then I seat Paula on my left followed by Tom. Once they are settled, I address the council's of elders and witches, most of whom are still standing. "If you'd like to take a seat, we can get this meeting started. Ri'elle?" I pause, waiting for him to turn and look at me. "Can you make this room sound proof?" I ask him. He nods,
"Ri'elle, what do we need in order to break the blood spell on the Alpha here?" I ask, getting straight to business. I know that they all have questions about my passing out, my sudden willingness to take up the role of the queen, but all of that will have to wait. I focus all of my attention on Ri'elle, everyone else understands what I am trying to do and follows suit. "Well, we will need at least 2 witches, Annie you don't count. Sorry, I don't mean to sound harsh, but we need witches with enough experience to do this. Undoing blood magic is not the same at finding an antidote for a poison, or washing a curse away... Blood magic is more like a net, woven around the soul. We have to cut the ties that bind, it we miss even one, its like leaving a window open for the witch to or any witch who knows how to regain the control over him." Ri'elle looks over at me and asks me to explain again exactly that happened when the witch went into the pack house with the Alph
Annie is our queen. The words reverbarate around in my head, but no matter how hard I try I can not make them make sense. The chancellor in on his feet, still looking me in the eyes. He taps Matteo and Daryl on the shoulders, they both stand and all three bow to me together. "I don't underdstand... What does that mean? I ... I can't be a queen, we don't have a queen. And besides my father is a beta, how could I be the queen?" I say, not trying to call him a liar, but also needing proof. "Well, we had a King and a Queen, centuries ago. In each new generation was born a female werewolf who was destined to be the queen. Then, about 500 years ago, no one knows why, but the new queen was never born. Or never found. We can't be sure. What we do know is that since that time we have not had a queen. Since werewolves as a whole aremuchstronger when we do have a queen, the council has been on the look out for the nex

Now I hear not only Micheal behind me, but Ansel, and Julian as well. Julian may be new to the group, but he is also upset at a man challenging a woman half his size. But I don't mind, because if I loose it won't matter to me much, since I am a girl, and half his size. However if I win... He would never be able to live it down. My eyes narrow on Chad. "Alright." I say. "I accept your challenge. Standard council challenge rules." I tell him. Standard rules state that we fight until one of us is unable to continue, either the loser dies, or is knocked unconsious. We do not stop the fight for injury, and forfeiture is not allowed. Since Chad is an alpha (at least for now) if he was to lose the challenge to another male, that male would be able to claim Chad's pack, and take over as alpha. However, as a female, even if i win I will not be able to claim his rank as my prize. It doesn't really matter to me tho, since I know that I wi
A few of the warriors step farward to object to me giving orders to Chad, whom they still think is their future alpha."Stop!" I call to them, then I add to Chad in a carrying voice "As the Queen, I hereby strip you of your rank as alpha. Chad, you will now and forever be a rogue wolf, never again able to join a pack or hold a rank of any kind."As soon as the words leave my mouth Chad's scent change's, leaving no doubt that I am in fact the queen that I claim to be.I address the crowd in a loud clear voice. "I know that everyone has a lot of questions, and I promise that we will make a time to have a pack meeting to answer all of your questions. For right now I will say this, I am not here to harm your pack. I give you my word that I am here as a friend. Chad is guilty of demoting a pack member to Omega. He then hid this omega here in your pac house. As the queen I sentenced him to demotion for this and other crimes. This matter is now closed
The party is in full swing, people are dancing, eating, and having fun. On Miss Frankie's suggestion I hired a group of teen's, their garage band is playing now, a mix of country, rock, emo, and pop music, the pack seems to be loving it. The council walks in, in their robes, looking intimidating. They all sit together, not talking to the pack members. I would say it is rude, but they are the council, and this is sorta just how they are. After a few minutes I notice that Matteo is not among the council members, since he is staying here to help me adjust he is dressed in regular clothes now, blending into the crowd. I am not sure this plan will work, since anyone here can smell the council rank on him, but at least it has a chance of tricking the witch if she is watching. I wonder if we should light the bonfire? I turn to Ansel, to ask him for a lighter, but before I can get the words out Julian walks over with two warriors. They light the fir
