"Do remember anything at all?" Celia asked.

Zylen sighed. "We were drinking and then the next thing I know is that we're in the car singing Justin Bieber songs and after that it was as if it were slow-mo you know?," he paused for a few seconds. "I remember Nicole yelling at me to swerve the car and watch out before my head hit the steering wheel and within seconds it was all just black." He explained, trying to re-jog his memory of what happened the previous night.

Meanwhile, Nicole was still asleep in her room.

Her eyes slowly fluttered opened as she adjusted to the light. Her head was still aching and it hurt to breathe but she managed to keep herself calm. "Mom?"

"Honey, oh honey, you're awake!" Her mom smiled, her eyes tearing up.

Nicole gave her mother a weak smile. "How are you?"

Her mother chuckles slightly. "Honey, I think that's what I should be asking you,"

Nicole smiled at her mom, feeling more calm now that she got to see her. "I'm hurting," she told her truthfully.
