Fortunately, they had study leave from the school for their finals, hence it did not matter if they attended.
Talking about which, there was only a month left before their finals.
But before that, Liam took Nora to a high-end restaurant to meet someone.
Walking into the private room, Nora was surprised to see the woman beside Liam.
The woman seemed to be around in her sixties. She wore a dark-colored below-the-knee dress with a shawl wrapped around her shoulders. Her hair had gunmetal gray and was pulled up neatly in a bun. She has off a vibe of a no-nonsense woman, yet appeared to be gentle.
If her memory served correctly, she saw her once at Liam’s house during her stay at his place.
When Liam was badly beaten up by his father’s men, it wasn’t his mother but the woman in front of her who checked up on him first.
