Creak…
A little boy named Sebastian reached the door that leads to the basement first followed by a short-legged girl named K Whatever aka Dahlia. As soon as he arrived, he opened the door slowly without waiting for his partner-in-crime.
“Huff, huff,” K Whatever made it with a short breath, waiting for Sebastian for a clear start, she watched out for the surveillance camera to be turned on. Before it flashes back to red, Sebastian grabbed her in.
“I don’t see any camera but there must be hidden, anyway we don’t have any clue whatever we find here,” Sebastian stated.
Looking at the long hallway with tons of doors, K Whatever nodded, “It’s fine, let’s just think we are playing ‘Guess That Door’ game. More surprises to come~”
“Pft,” Sebastian chuckles.

As Sebastian and K Whatever walking down the round stairs, they smelled a foul and nasty fragrance, none of them spoke afraid of the unknown and covered their nose. K Whatever reached the end of the stairs and didn’t stop, as for Sebastian he is still behind her and follows her as there might be traps that would trigger anytime. K Whatever squinted her eyes as the place only has fire for the lights. An old-style brick wall and floor, along the wide hallway and there are bars on each side. Each bar, there would be either empty or has a skeleton with moulds and flies. This place is like a medieval style prison. And an unclean one that is! K Whatever puke on the floor as the smell grows stronger the farther they walk! “Urgh! My poor, poor nose…” Sebastian caressed her back and looked around. This is nothing to him, he’d seen worse… he’d smelled worse. K Whatever grabbed her space bag and look for a thing that wo
K Whatever and Sebastian went up the stairs only to find that they went back from above where the empty rooms in the long hallway lie. “It’s one of the empty rooms earlier,” K Whatever stated. “Yeah… Then the other empty rooms are not empty at all?” Sebastian tugged his clothes as the stairs they used had clouds of dust all over their clothes. “It seems so,” After the stairs safely turned into a floor, K Whatever walked towards the door and checked if anyone was there. “Let’s go check it out,” Sebastian followed her as they went to the other floor. “Say, do you think the reason why no one comes here even with so much noise we made the other room is because…” K Whatever pondered, “…they were confident with their traps and so on?” “I also think that there’s a soundproof everywhere,” Sebastian stated, “…and I guess there are no cameras anywhere here is because they don’t intend to leave any trac
“Dahlia! Get up! " A tiny girl was awakened by a boy tugging on her clothes. “Argh!" ” K Whatever sat up straight, ignoring the bratty guy who had woken her up, and saw Dahlia's soul in front of her. "It's the 12th time, isn't it?" ” Dahlia smiled and nodded. K Whatever facepalms, "Aw, this sucks." Meanwhile, the small kid frowned convinced that his sister had gone insane. “Whatever!" Before leaving the room, the boy added, "Just hurry up or else mom will murder you, money's on the cabinet." "Already did kid," K Whatever said as she rose, removing the blanket that had been wrapped around her. When she went downstairs and heard the family of three making a racket, K Whatever rolled her eyes. When Dahlia's mother saw that K Whatever, a.k.a. Dahlia, had finally awoken, she began to blabber about regulations and things to remember for their child who would be left alone.
"Welcome to Trixter's Escape Room, player!" In the middle of the library, a bubble spoke. Kiera, also known as Player 07 or K Whatever, was perplexed. All she did was sleep for a brief while, and the next thing she knew, she was in a room surrounded by books. And she isn't a big reader. But, what about an escape room? Kiera made a grunting sound. "Find the clues in this room to escape! Good luck, player!" says the bubble, which then pops. "Eh?" Kiera was perplexed once more. She gazed around the area, which had book shelves on every corner and a door with a lock that required a key, a card, and a password at the end of the hallway. Kiera pouted after taking a look around. Kiera walked over to the table and rested her arms on the table to support her head. She slept for a while. The bubble that was discreetly monitoring her was taken aback. This isn't working! A
"Player K, going with the flow could cost you your life; this isn't the only world you'll visit. In a world when your abilities are no longer useful, I hope that when that time comes, you are selfish enough to get what you want rather than dying in vain." V walked away without waiting for a response. "It's not pointless..." K Whatever muttered as she stared out the window. Sebastian remained glancing at K Whatever with profound thoughts while the kids and a stranger traveled to their destination. Sebastian closed his eyes and relaxed on the voyage as if he would make a hole in her head for him to reach her. "Kids, here we are," the driver said shortly after they arrived. Sebastian opened his eyes and woke up the little girl beside him, “Thank you, mister, we will be waiting at the plaza for them,” K Whatever left the vehicle along with Sebastian. “Just stay where
K Whatever contemplated Sebastian's statement. "However, Seb, with people prowling upstairs, how do we go up? It took some effort for us to get down here with so few people. What about up here?” Looking around the room full of clothes, Sebastian found a solution, he grab a maid frilly clothes and showed them to her, “We will disguise?” “Pft, that suits you!” K Whatever laughed so hard thinking it was him who's going to wear it! Sebastian’s cheeks blushed and threw the clothes at her, “I’ll find what I could borrow. We can disguise ourselves as those puppet kids. We’ve seen some of them wear these clothes and they were loitering around freely.” "Well, it's better than nothing, I just hope this works," K Whatever took the clothing and blended in between hangers of clothes to change. "It's far more difficult to get here from my house, from the forest, than it is to go inside the estate."
"Arghh..." K Whatever was temporarily blinded by the bright lights that greeted them. "I was under the impression we were in a secret passageway, so why is it so bright?" Sebastian closed his eyes and searched the lonely hallway for a switch to dim the light. He finally discovered the circle switch by touching the walls. As soon as he opened his eyes, he said, "You can open your eyes now." K Whatever removed her hand from her face and adjusted her eyes to the new light. This time, there are enough lights for the two of them. She let out a sigh... "I'm not sure what happened to this place after mum used this hallway before, but I'm sure only a few people would know... I simply don't know who," Sebastian began heading down the corridor, followed by K Whatever. Two small feet wandered down this straight hallway, "Then you don't know where to go?" "No," Sebastian admitted candidly, "but we can look in
“It wasn’t me this time!” K Whatever pleaded with Sebastian's puzzled expression. It wasn't her who killed Sebastian's stepmother; it was someone who entered the room leisurely. Inside the mansion, a man in his early thirties dressed in summer attire and sporting sunglasses, walked in. "Oh, my son, that woman is nothing but a liar."Sebastian scowled as he saw his father approaching the door with a revolver drawn. "There's no SUN here mister," K Whatever said tilting in confusion.“Hmm? My SON is your friend, lovely child," the guy answered, "and he's right in front of you.""I was referring to your sunglasses, sir," K Whatever said, her head tilted with genuine consideration. The man was dumbfounded for a second before he shook his head and decided to ignore the little girl, he smiled at the little boy instead, "My son, I heard what happened
