I felt Reese gather my hair and hold it behind me. Something cold was smeared on the side of my neck and then I heard a match strike. I opened my eyes in panic and then closed them just as fast. Joanna was going to burn me.
It hurt. Bad. I gritted my teeth but a cry of anguish escaped my lips despite my best efforts. Troi shifted into Tyra and Reese yelled, trying to stop her from attacking Joanna.
