Ominicient P.O.V

Ciro woke up quite late after a dramatic last evening. He was surprised that Carl had gone to the extent of sending gang members after him. What bothered him the most was the fact that they related to him that he was alive because of the presence of their godmother. Ciro was curious to know the identity of their godmother.

The door opened and Sofia entered the room with breakfast in her hands. She had been particularly romantic for this few days which was rather a surprise to Ciro. Sofia noticed the gloomy looks on Ciro and dropped the food by the table beside the bed and laid down beside him, dropping her head on his chest.

"Why are you distressed?" She asked. Ciro contemplated on telling Sofia about the entire event. When he arrived last night, he had instructed Micheal not to say a word about what happened to anyone and he had moved to his room after dropping the groceries for Sofia without saying a word to her.
