I have started cleaning when my phone rang. I picked up the phone and see that it was Patrick calling.
"Hey, Patrick. Is everything okay?"
"Yeah, I don't really know. Liam had a fever last night. I gave him some medicine and hoped that it would go away, but it didn't. This is why I am calling you now."
"I am on my way." I dropped the call and basically ran to the car. I called the doctor on my way to Patrick's house. I made the appointment for around 10. It was the only time slot the doctor was free.
I knocked on the door at the house. Patrick opened up. It looks like he hasn't slept much.
"Liam is at the table," Patrick said while rubbing his eyes.
"Was there any other symptoms besides the fevers?" I asked walking into the house.
"No, only the fevers."
"I won't be able to stay. I will just be taking Liam. I have breakfast with Ava this morning."
