Caroline's heart grew colder with each word Evan spoke.

She closed her eyes, a helpless smile appearing on her face.

Would he believe her even if she explained herself?

"Say something!!!" He suddenly yelled.

She looked at him with a flat expression. "Would you believe me, Evan? If you won't, then whatever I explain will be meaningless to you!"
