Chapter 819 Make Them Come on Time

Suddenly, Evan bent over and carried Caroline from the sofa.

Keeping his head hung, Evan stared at Caroline icily and demanded, "I'll make you doze off in exhaustion if you say no."

His words made Caroline think of certain scenes.

She struggled shyly. "Can you please don't do that kind of thing in broad daylight?"

Evan carried her upstairs. "Your room is as dark as night, given the blackout curtains."
