Caroline shook her head, opened the door, and said, "Let's go."

Paige got out of the car and followed Caroline to the floor where the journalist lived.

Caroline activated the voice recording function on her phone at the door.

Paige whispered, "So, you're recording conversations now?"

Caroline glanced at her. "I've learned my lesson from past experiences."

Paige gave a thumbs up. "Good move! You've become wiser. Should I knock?"

Caroline knocked, and a man's voice echoed. "Who's there?"

Paige immediately switched to acting mode. "Hello, I'm the newly hired property management personnel. I'm here to gather your thoughts on the residential area."
