"I have no idea!" Alex was confused.

Paige said, "Pick up the call and see if Carol's okay."

Alex nodded, accepted the call, and put it on speaker.

"How can I help you, Caroline?" Alex asked.

Carol said, "Mr. Pierce, I would like you to explain to me about the termination of the factory's lease."

Paige and Alex widened their eyes in surprise.
