Chapter 210 What More Is There to Explain

On an early Thursday morning at Xander Residence, Daniella was awakened by her ringing phone. She answered the call with a sense of irritation.

"Hello? Who's there?"

"Bitch! You better not let me catch you, or you'll die terribly!"

The hoarse, deep voice startled Daniella, jolting her awake. Her eyes widened in shock as she saw the caller's number on the screen.

'Wayne? Isn't he being pursued by Grandpa? How is he still alive?' she wondered.

Daniella feigned her puzzlement. "What do you mean, Mr. Hunter?"

"Stop pretending! Even though I lost the evidence, I can recognize your voice!" Wayne shouted. "Would I come back to seek compensation from them if not because of you? Would I be pursued if not because of you?"

Daniella clutched the blanket tightly. "Mr. Hunter, don't make false accusations like this. I felt guilty, so I told you to seek compensation from Caroline. Who would have thought you'd reach out to my grandfather?"

"What more is there to explain at this point?"

"I'm n
