Gina and her mother had been waiting for Julia's arrival for almost an hour, sitting at the police station with full confidence.

They had already filed a report with the police about the violence committed by Lucas against Gina.

"Officer, why is the defendant taking so long to arrive? It's been almost an hour!" said Gina's mother in an angry tone.

"Sorry, Ma'am, if you can't wait patiently, please come back tomorrow. The person you are accusing is busy and cannot come to answer the police summons!" explained one of the police officers to Gina's mother.

Aunt Julia slammed her hand on the table. She was angry to hear that Julia was late to answer the police summons.

"How can that be! I won't leave until that person comes and apologizes to my daughter. Can't you see the violence she has done?!" Gina's mother shouted, showing Gina's bruised wrist.
